Along with the fast development of society and economy,the improvement of living standard enhance the development of education and the education of fine art has been increasingly taking more attention.The indispensability of fine art education has been stated in the new curriculum reform.However,affected by the exam-oriented education in the past,there are disadvantages such as single teaching mode and solidified teaching mode.And,the teaching concepts of art education for children need reform with the rapid development of quality education.Besides,a large number of commercial institutions emerged in society and they try to use art education events to expand and occupy the commercial market.There is a phenomenon that children's art education is linked to the utility.It is urgent for children's art education to find a pure teaching method and concept which is more suitable for children.This paper developed paper-cut art activities for children and promoted them through book publishing and website construction creatively combined with traditional paper-cut,from the perspective of visual perception theory.The author obtains the basic theoretical knowledge according to the research on the theory of visual perception: human's visual experience is based on visual reception and cognition,which is a dual combination of physiological experience and psychological experience.Therefore,artistic creation is not a simple representation of visual experience,but a recreation of psychological experience.One part of a person's visual perception is based on his or her physical development and the other par t comes from his or her inner subjective experience.The development of children's visual perception is divided into several different stages,and the relationship of each stage is progressive.It progressed from subjective to objective,from elementary to advanced and from simple to complex which are all closely related to the development of children's overall cognitive level.Each stage of children's visual perception development has specific rules,and art education should respect these rules.People's own life experience is an important source of artistic expression in the process of artistic creation.Traditional folk paper-cuts are produced in labour activities.Folk artworks are based on the process of observation,understanding and recreation of real-life scenes and environments by labourers.Its artistic creation rules are interlinked with children's artistic creation rules.Therefore,the entry of folk paper-cut into children's art education can provide a rich reference for children's art teaching activities.Aiming at the present disadvantages and limitations existing in the children's art education,the author attempts to studies the current cases of children's art teaching practice by classroom teaching practice to explore the corresponding teaching mode.This paper sums up the concept that teachers should adhere to and follow in children's art education,help children to improve the aesthetic interest,training experience ability,hands-on ability,creative ability and other comprehensive quality.
