There has always been an opposition between subjectivism and objectivism in social theory.In order to overcome and surpass the opposition between subjectivism and objectivism,Bourdieu,a famous French sociologist,put forward relativism methodology with the main contents of field,habitus and capital on the basis of phenomenology,structuralism,constructivism and classical sociology.Firstly,this paper sorted out the theoretical resources of Bourdieu's relativism methodology.It includes Marx's theory of the essence of social relations,Po-nty's thought of anti-realism relations,Strauss' structuralism relation theory,Barthes' theory of symbolic relations,and points out their influence on Bourdieu and his methodology of relativism.Secondly,it analyses the basic content of Bourdieu's relativism methodology from three aspects: first,it points out the transcendence of relativism methodology to holism and individualism methodology;second,it analyses the specific level of relativism methodology,namely,field,habitus,capital's relativism orientation and their mutual construction;third,it explores the characteristics of Bourdieu's relativism methodology,namely,model.Fuzzy,relational and generative.Finally,the significance and shortcomings of Bourdieu's relativism methodology are discussed.In terms of meaning,it is mainly to transcend the binary opposition between subject and object,emphasizing the reflective nature of social sciences and the constructivism orientation of social sciences.Bourdieu advocates dialectical investigation and reflection,overcoming the contradiction between subjective and objective,the conflict between symbol and material,which is of great value to social science.At the same time,There are also some shortcomings in the methodology of relational doctrine:...
