Thoughts On Contemporary Moral Relativism Influence College Students

With the development of globalization and market economy, moral in social activities more and more present a pluralistic tendency. Cultural pluralism makes people believe that different cultures have not commensurability, or reasons. Why people don't have enough confidence to judge does not belong to oneself the moral behavior of society, culture and customs. As a kind of moral relativism trend has been criticized by scholars from all walks of life, showed growing trend in recent years. This trend is the result of the absolute and subjective understanding of moral relativity, gradually formed as a moral personal, emotional and psychological state of utilitarian, have a profound impact on moral practice. Face the trend of moral relativism, and should not be simply to criticize its is correct as the main purpose, the first thing we need to do is through combing theory and explore its ideological roots, accurately grasp its theoretical connotation, and then further studies of this ideological trend of inevitability and diverse effects, in order to correctly locate moral relativism trend and to strengthen the construction of college students'moral accomplishment.This paper on the basis of moral relativism and theoretical analysis, part of the questionnaire survey to the college students of Zhejiang province, the first contemporary college students were discussed from five aspects:the main performance of the affected by the trend of moral relativism, namely moral cognition is a fuzzy concept, moral values on collective and weaken the social consciousness, value orientation on the present tendency and behavior on toward liberalization and pluralistic phenomenon presents on the way of thinking. Secondly to dig deeper into this kind of ideological trend to the impact of the contemporary college students and enlightenment, mainly including lead to the weakening of the moral judgment standard, objective social moral and psychological bottom line impact, weaken the lofty moral ideal faith, strengthen the awareness of moral nihilism. This study argues that the causes of these phenomena can be summed up in the following five:the negative impact of social reality factors, the content of moral education in universities and the way of rigid, improper family education factors inducing factors and college students themselves, the concealment of infiltration and influence. Finally based on moral relativism to the negative impact of the contemporary college students' thought and behavior, and puts forward the following Suggestions:first, should stick to the mainstream ideology education definitely; Second, speed up transformation of mode of moral education in colleges and universities into daily life; Third, the cultivation of moral philosophy of practice of dialectical thinking consciously; Finally, in the deepening study to improve the understanding of moral relativism.
