The aging of the population is an important social problem facing all countries in the world.Under this trend,aging education is gradually becoming a global phenomenon.In terms of aging education and its promotion strategy,Taiwan region of China has taken the lead in developing due to its special social and economic factors.Under the acceleration of the aging process in Taiwan,the issue of education and leisure for the elderly has received the attention of relevant departments and has shown a trend of rapid development.The Taiwan region has established a development system for “elderly leisure education”.“Learning education” has become an important strategic measure to improve the quality of life of the elderly,promote education for the elderly,and promote the sustainable development of education.This study takes Taiwan's senior leisure education as the research focus,and systematically sorts out the development characteristics of old-age leisure education.The full text is divided into five parts.The first part explores the cognitive basis and realistic background of the development of the elderly leisure education in Taiwan.Based on this,it summarizes the three stages of the development of the aged leisure education,the mid-term development and the maturity stage,and leads the senior leisure education representative institution to represent the senior learning center.And Learning University.In the second part,the whole to part analysis method is used to explain the development of the elderly leisure education system.Firstly,the multiple settings of the old-age leisure education institutions in Taiwan are elaborated,and then the emergence and development of the emerging leisure education institutions,the senior learning center and the senior college.The third part,based on the general induction of the basic characteristics of the senior leisure education curriculum,from the face to point,detailing the curriculum of the Senior Learning Center and the curriculum of the senior college.The curriculum must be taught by excellent teachers to play the charm of education itself.The fourth part starts from the perspective of teacher management.It first describes the source of senior leisure education teachers and the composition of teachers,and then discusses the teacher training and teacher evaluation of senior leisure education.The fifth part concludes in a comparative way,sums up the shortcomings in the development of the elderly leisure education in mainland China,from the problems existing in the construction of the old-age leisure education system,the unresolved loopholes in the setting of the old leisure education curriculum,and the construction of the elderly leisure education teachers.The three drawbacks still exist,and the successful experience of Taiwan's old-age leisure education in these three aspects is the enlightenment of the development of old-age leisure education in mainland China.
