As an important part of children's prosocial behavior, helping behavior is an important sign of children's social development. One of the influencing factors of children's social development is their social cognition, and the ability of social perspective-taking is the core factor of their social cognition development. Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the relationship between children's social perspective-taking ability and children's helping behavior to promote the development of children's helping behavior and further promote the development of children's sociality. The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between the social perspective-taking ability of middle and senior class children and their helping behavior,60 middle and senior class children in a kindergarten in shijiazhuang were selected respectively, with a total of 120 children as the research object.Their social perspective-taking ability was measured by story interview method, and their helping behavior was measured by situational experiment method. Results & Findings:1.In the middle and senior class, children's ability of cognitive perspective-taking is higher than that of affective perspective-taking.There is a significant age difference in the ability of social perspective-taking between middle class children and senior class children, and there are also significant differences in cognitive perspective-taking and affective perspective-taking,and the development level of middle class children is lower than that of senior class children. On the whole, there is no significant difference in the ability of children of different genders in social perspective-taking,but the cognitive perspective-taking ability of girls in senior class is significantly higher than that of boys in senior class.2.There is a significant difference in helping behavior between middle class children and senior class children. The helping behavior of senior class children is significantly more than that of middle class children and is more timely than that of middle class children. However, there is no significant difference in helping behavior between boys and girls.3.There is an extremely significant correlation between the social perspective-taking ability and the helping behavior of middle and senior class children.Further regression analysis shows that compared with the cognitive perspective-taking ability, the affective perspective-taking ability has a greater influence on the helping behavior of children and is the main predictor of helping behavior.
