Social perspective taking is the core of social cognitive. Good social perspective taking can improve children’s social adaptability, and let’s young children to be integrate into the collective life better. At present, China’s one-child social adaptation has caused widespread concern in the education field. Social perspective-taking is open a new angle for us to solve this problem.The purpose of this research is to investigate the status quo of the development of the children’s social perspective taking; the story-teaching strategies and methods to enhance children’s social perspective taking. Researcher used clinical interview and event sampling observation by a certain class children to know their social perspective taking status quo. Their Social perspective taking development has three characteristics:firstly, with a certain social perspective taking cognitive ability, but lack of appropriate social strategies; secondly, social perspective-taking behavior behind the social perspective taking cognitive level; thirdly, Social perspective taking is impacted by the scenario. Their social perspective ability have four levels:level1is completely self-centered; level2horizontal aware of their relative independence with others, but they think others’ have the same needs, thoughts and feelings as their own; Level3recognize others is different individual with their own, others has their different needs, thoughts and feelings; level4aware of the needs, thoughts and feelings of others’ is impacted by the existing information. Researchers through the eight-week story-teaching to enhance the kids’ social perspective taking, and describes how to improve kids’ social perspective taking by story-teaching.Authors suggest that:through story-teaching can enhance the children’s social perspective taking ability. But, the story-teaching activities which the purpose is to enhance children’s social perspective taking has its own characteristics in terms of activity objectives, activities, extend and evaluation. Teachers can learn the conclusions of this study, dig the educational value of the story, to promote the all-round development of young children.
