In recent years,with the guidance of the lifelong education,continuing education is an important part of the lifelong education system and plays an important role in adult education.After the continuing education reform in universities,lots of universities started to imitate Qinghua University.More and more universities began to develop non-degree continuing education.With the development of non-degree continuing education in universities and the prosperity of the training market,the problems of quality appeared.The big problem we met is how to improve the quality of non-degree continuing education in universities.In order to explore the strategies about improving quality of non-degree continuing education in universities,this article writed by reading many books witch are related with this research and comparing with other countries.As well as,this article use two theories :Andragogy and Total Quality Management.After researching the current situation,this article finds that there are some problems in the positioning of non-degree continuing education in Chinese universities.The universities always evaluates non-degree continuation education by the output value,pursues the market blindly,and monitor quality unrigorously.In the process of training,it imitated ordinary higher education.At the same time,they do not deepen the cooperation with enterprises for practical ability.These reasons have led to a series of problems in non-degree continuing education in Chinese universities: The students' knowledge structure is not updated enough.The responsibility of society was neglected.Many universities only pursue the money so that do not focus on the characteristics of training programs.The practicality has not been well achieved.These problems have hindered the development of non-degree continuing education in Chinese universities.So,if we want to improve the quality of non-degree continuing education in Chinese universities,we need to solve the positing problems and based on the the advantages of universities,so that we can improve the professional ability of non-degree continuing education in universities.To promote school-enterprise cooperation on the basis of getting rid of the shackles of universal education will effectively enhance the practical ability of students and teachers.Of course,this entire process can not lack of powerful qualitycontrol.Strengthening quality management from both inside and outside,using third-party monitoring channels outside to strengthen quality supervision in order to introduce a comprehensive quality management concept,high class of universities play a leading role to establish education quality.The responsibility system should be established,and the quality management should be based on the analysis of data and information.
