The basketball level of a country is closely related to the cultivation of young talents.To increase the cultivation of reserve talents is an important way to improve the basketball level of this country.Since Yao Ming,chairman of China Basketball Association,took office,he has made great efforts to develop the cause of youth basketball,carried out the system of combination of sports and education,organized a large number of regular youth basketball leagues,and jointly trained excellent basketball players.In this paper,the characteristics of fouls committed by national U17 men's basketball players in 2019 were studied,use the literature material method,field survey method,video observation method,mathematical statistics and other research methods,mainly around the fouls foul,foul time,area and position of foul,foul nature,different types of defensive foul,caused opponents foul penalty of case analysis,Therefore,it reflects the common characteristics of individual fouls in the national U17 men's basketball players,and puts forward theoretical Suggestions for standardizing the technical movements of basketball players in this age group and promoting scientific training,the main research conclusion is as follows:1.In terms of the number of fouls,the number of fouls is positively correlated with the ranking,that is,the fewer fouls there are,the better the ranking will be;Too many fouls of the key players will affect the result of the game;Fouls are most common in the forward position,followed by the center position and the least in the guard position.The team's overall defensive ability needs to be improved.2.In terms of foul time,the number of fouls committed by different lineups in different periods in the first half was significantly different,mainly due to the psychological changes and emotional fluctuations of players;The second half is mainly characterized by the majority of fouls in the first 5 minutes of the third and fourth quarters.3.In the fouls area,the fouls in the four zones are the most,the fouls in the three zones are the second,and the fouls in the first and second zones are less.The main reason lies in the weak physical resistance ability and the unreasonable use of capping technology.4.In terms of the nature of fouls,most of the defensive fouls are mainly characterized by hand fouls,because of the individual defensive movements of the players are not standard.Thereare many illegal screen and shoving fouls in offensive fouls,which are manifested in moving,beyond the screen of the cylinder and shoving to catch the ball and grab the rebound.The main reason is that the concept of rules of the cylinder is not clear to the players.5.In terms of defensive fouls,the number of fouls against layups and penetration is significantly higher,which is due to the slow footwork of the defenders,improper positioning,and poor awareness of covering defense and assisting defense.6.In terms of the fouls caused by the opponents' free throws,there were more fouls on the shooting movement,mainly due to the lack of experience in faking the opponents' shots,the unreasonable position of supporting defense.
