"Simple equation" as a model to describe the equivalence relationship in practical problems,on the basis of cultivating students' arithmetic thinking,the elementary development of students' algebraic thinking,not only helps to cultivate students' number sense and symbol consciousness,but also helps to permeate the mathematical thinking method,and at the same time lays a foundation for junior high school to learn algebra knowledge.This paper mainly adopts literature research method,interview method,case analysis method and investigation method to study the problems in elementary school simple equation teaching.Through interviewing a glimmer of teacher and student's examination paper analysis,understand the classroom teaching high school students is not easy to understand "with letters",don't like to use "the nature of the equation" equation,to solve practical problems,ignore the advantage of equation,used to complex arithmetic method of problem solving,equations,but couldn't find the number of relations and other issues.In view of this,the following Suggestions are made:(1)teachers should dig into the compilation intention of teaching materials and understand students' original cognitive basis when preparing lessons.(2)pay attention to the different meanings of "=" in "equation";To understand "the essence of the meaning of equations";Permeate why learn the properties of equations.(3)to effectively find the equivalence relationship in the problem and improve students' ability towrite equations;By means of typical examples,the two methods of arithmetic and algebra are presented intuitively and the comparative analysis is carried out to realize the advantages of equations.We should permeate the algebra thought in advance and train the students' algebra thinking.(4)apply historical materials and the ideas and methods contained in them to classroom teaching and make a reasonable teaching design according to the learning situation.At the same time,according to the research conclusion,the teaching design of "using letters to represent Numbers" and "solving simple equations" was carried out again,hoping to be helpful to the classroom teaching of front-line teachers.
