In the Information Technology Age,the teacher's teaching method and the student's learning method are also changing constantly.Nowadays,educational APPS have already become a popular teaching media and learning resources for teachers and students,and play their irreplaceable advantages.Educational apps have emerged in various application stores,covering various study sections and subjects.In particular,preschool children like to engage in immersive learning in interesting situations,and educational apps can meet this need.Overall,educational APPS are growing fast,but the quality is mixed.Most of the domestic researches on educational APP are on the status quo and application,and the evaluation research is still in its infancy,not to mention the research based on visual communication theory.In the research of educational technology evaluation,there are some items such as interface or artistry,which use some visual communication theory,but do not play the biggest advantage of visual communication in promoting students' learning.Good Visual communication can not only improve the efficiency of educational apps in transmitting teaching information,but also minimize the influence of irrelevant factors on students' learning and ensure students' attention to the teaching content.The orderly design and arrangement of the visual elements in the APP can create a good virtual learning environment for students,increase the pleasure of learning,and cultivate students' aesthetic taste.At the pre-school stage,every sense organ is in the critical period of development.The external visual and audio stimulation will have a far-reaching impact on the children,and the children's literacy rate is low,therefore,the research on visual communication of educational APP in early childhood is more important.The First Chapter Discusses The background,development trend and significance of the research.The second chapter defines and explains the related concepts and theories involved in this paper.The third chapter is the innovation of this paper,because this research area is relatively new and not available evaluation tools yet,the author here needs toanalyze the literature of Visual communication,child psychology,preschool education,audio-visual psychology,and so on,combining with the experience of our own practice,we draw up the scale of visual communication evaluation in early childhood,try it in a small scope to find out the problems,and finally modify and determine the scale through expert interview.The Fourth Chapter describes the process of the reliability and validity analysis of the gauge table.The idea is to analyze the consistency between the evaluation results of the gauge table and the expert evaluation results.The fifth chapter describes the process of the evaluation of the preschool APP by using the scale,and analyzes the visual problems of the APP.The sixth chapter presents the cases of visual communication which are not up to standard,up to standard,good and excellent.Chapter Seven is the conclusion of visual communication research.Chapter Eight is the conclusion of the thesis.According to the study,the author found that there are major problems in the visual aspects of Preschool apps at this stage,with only 30% of the APPS meeting the Visual communication minimum standard and only 5% meeting the excellent standard.Through the analysis of the evaluation results,it is concluded that the main problem in the visual aspect of preschool APP lies in the graphic aspect,and the reason behind is that designers can not really consider the cognitive characteristics and learning rules of young children.Finally,the author gives practical countermeasures according to his own professional knowledge.The designers and developers of infant APP will make reference to improve the level of visual communication of the APP so as to promote the effective learning and physical and mental development of the infant.
