With the development of core literacy,mathematical operations have once again received widespread attention.As one of the three major mathematics abilities and ten core concepts of mathematics,operation ability has an important impact on junior middle school mathematics learning.The seventh grade students are in the transition stage from concrete image thinking to abstract logical thinking.Good operation ability plays a key role in the later learning.However,the seventh grader's operation problems are more prominent.It's necessary to understand the status of the students' operation ability from the perspective of core literacy in order to better cultivate the students' operation ability.Based on the research of related theories,this paper constructs an evaluation system of operation ability,and prepares questionnaires and test papers based on students' practice and classroom feedback.Combining data analysis and the results of teacher interviews,the following conclusions were obtained:(1)the overall operation ability of seventh grade students is not high,and the gap between students' operation ability is large;(2)The comprehensive response capacity of students is low,and there is a mindset;(3))Students are less interested in mathematical operations and pay less attention,and their operational habits and learning attitudes need to be improved;(4)There is no significant difference in the operation ability of seventh grade students between class and gender;(5)The operation ability is significantly positively related to the students' ordinary performance and the degree of interest in mathematical operations;(6)The teaching method of teachers' is relatively single.Finally,according to the conclusion,six suggestions are put forward to improve the seventh grade students' operation ability:(1)Attach importance to the teaching of basic knowledge and computing theory;(2)Infiltrate the methods of thinking and improve the thinking of computing;(3)Cultivate the students' ability to examine questions;(4)Improve the interest of computing and correct the learning state;(5)Attach importance to the process of computing and develop good operational habits;(6)enrich teaching methods and rational writing.
