Research On The Current Situation And Path Of The Popularization Of Ice Snow Sports In Colleges And Universities In Liaoning Province

Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games is a rare historical opportunity for the development of ice and snow sports and also a good opportunity to promote the coordinated development of competitive sports and mass sports in China.Liaoning province is a key province for the promotion and development of snow and ice sports in China.It plays an important role in many aspects including inheriting snow and ice culture and training athletes.Study the current situation and implementation path of ice and snow sports promotion in Colleges and universities in Liaoning Province is not only helpful to recognize the actual situation and existing problems but also has positive significance and reference value for improving the development level of ice and snow sports in the region.This paper takes the promotion status and path of ice and snow sports in Colleges and universities in Liaoning Province as the research object and draws the following conclusions through making an in-depth study of the development status,influencing factors and practical paths of snow and ice sports in colleges and universities in Liaoning Province by comprehensively adopting the methods of literature review,expert interview,questionnaire survey,field survey,logic analysis,mathematical statistics and other research methods.The venue facilities for ice and snow promotion in colleges and universities in Liaoning Province are still very limited.Nearly half of the colleges and universities lack ice and snow sports venues,which cannot meet the actual needs of teachers and students to participate in ice and snow sports.The opening rate of snow and ice project is not high,and the setting of snow course is very low.The teaching staff of ice and snow project is relatively weak,the the overall educational level of teachers is high but the professional level is low.The number of times students participate in ice and snow sports is very limited,but the willingness of participation is strong;The main factors affecting the promotion of ice and snow sports in colleges and universities in Liaoning province are the lagging behind of the main promotional body in traditional campuses.The imbalance of types of colleges and universities and major setups.The lack of facilities on campuses.The weak faculty of ice and snow sports course and the low degrees of recognition and enthusiasm for ice and snow culture.In addition,the promotion path needs to define the subject and task of the promoters,formulate specific goals,select and determine the content of promotion,expand the ways of promotion and improve the pertinenceof the target of ice and snow sports.Based on the above conclusions,this paper puts forward the following suggestions :The government should increase policy support and investment to improve infrastructure construction of ice and snow policy and deepen the educational reform in ice and snow sports.Pay attention to the development of curriculum and attaching importance to the construction of faculty for ice and snow sports.Strengthen the training of teachers of ice and snow sports and the introduction of high-level athletes;Make use of the powerful opportunity of the development of Beijing Winter Olympics to successfully complete the publicity work of ice and snow sports in universities.Actively participate in ice and snow sports events to cultivate competitive reserve talents.
