With the successful holding of the 24 th Beijing Winter Olympic Games,ice and snow sports have been loved and pursued by people all over the country,setting off a wave of ice and snow fever.The characteristic school of ice and snow sports is the main battlefield for the rapid development of ice and snow sports.It is an important carrier for implementing the strategic measures of "300 million people participate in ice and snow sports" and "South exhibition,west expansion and east expansion of ice and snow sports",and plays an irreplaceable role in the publicity and popularization of ice and snow sports.Guizhou is the first province in southern China to build ski resorts,setting a good start for other low-latitude regions.By using the methods of literature,interview,field investigation,questionnaire,mathematical statistics and logical analysis,this paper investigates and studies the basic situation,teaching situation,after-class training and competition situation,condition guarantee,construction of ice and snow culture and students’ participation in the characteristic schools of ice and snow sports in Guizhou Province.This paper summarized the collected data,explored the existing problems and restrictive factors in its development,and put forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions,which provided reference for promoting the sustainable development of ice sports in Guizhou special schools of ice sports.The main research results are as follows:(1)There are 22 national youth ice and snow sports characteristic schools in Guizhou Province,which are mainly distributed in Liupanshui area,and the regional development is unbalanced;The school period is mainly concentrated in the primary school,and there are few in the middle and high school.The teaching projects mainly focus on roller skating,and a small number of schools carry out roller curling and skiing,forming the characteristics of "roller skating as the main,snow and ice as the auxiliary".(2)In terms of organization and management,it is mainly led by the principal secretary of the school,and all class teachers and subject teachers are responsible for management,strict implementation of relevant national policies,and development of ice and snow sports.However,due to the late development of Guizhou,local development rules and regulations are lacking.(3)There is a shortage of special teachers for ice and snow sports,who are trained by physical education teachers and lack of professional skills and theories;The teaching venues of the school are mainly basketball court,track and field and open field.The indoor teaching venues are seriously insufficient,which is difficult to meet the all-weather teaching.The funding source of ice and snow sports is single and insufficient,mainly based on financial allocation,which is difficult to meet the teaching of ice and snow sports events.The school pays more attention to the safety of students and buys insurance for students to ensure their safety.(4)Most schools set up ice and snow sports courses,some schools in the form of "second class",a small number of schools due to the lack of equipment and teachers and other factors did not carry out;The school lacks unified teaching materials for ice and snow sports,and the weekly classes are few and each time is short.Teaching evaluation is mainly based on students’ awareness of participation and mastery of technical movements.(5)Most schools carry out after-school ice and snow sports,some students have formed ice and snow sports societies,associations,and ice and snow sports teams,mainly participating in competitions at the city and county level;Snow and ice activities are not balanced in regions,mainly concentrated in Liupanshui region,and less in other regions.(6)Most schools seldom carry out ice and snow sports cultural activities.The schools that carry out snow and ice sports cultural activities mainly carry out propaganda in online forms such as newsletter,wechat official account and Internet platform.The propaganda forms are single,the content lacks innovation,and the coverage is narrow.(7)Students have a high interest in participating,mainly participating in the school’s ice and snow sports,a small number of students participate in other types of ice and snow sports,and the main way of participation is in the form of school physical education,sports day and sports week,the main purpose of participation is to relieve learning pressure,relax mood and exercise;The students who do not participate in ice and snow sports are mainly due to the heavy learning task,the lack of venues and the family’s own economic factors.(8)Influencing factors: 1.School leaders do not pay enough attention to it,and lack relevant development rules and evaluation mechanism;2.2.The shortage of ice and snow professional teachers,theoretical knowledge and sports skills need to be improved;3.The school lacks indoor ice and snow venues,which is difficult to meet the all-weather teaching;4.Insufficient funds for ice and snow sports in schools and single source channels make it difficult to guarantee the regular development of ice and snow sports;5.Lack of school-based teaching materials;6.The form of snow and ice sports cultural publicity is simple and the popularity is poor;7.Influenced by exam-oriented education,students are under great learning pressure and their participation time is affected.(9)Development countermeasures: 1.Formulate rules for the development of ice and snow sports,improve assessment and evaluation standards,and improve the importance of school leaders;2.Strengthen the training of ice and snow teachers and introduce ice and snow sports talents by means of "going out and bringing in";3.Improve the construction of supporting facilities,strengthen school-enterprise cooperation,share resources,and promote the teaching of ice and snow sports;4.Integrate social resources,raise funds through multiple channels,and improve the fund investment mechanism;5.Strengthen the development of school-based curriculum according to local conditions;6.Establish ice and snow sports competition system,enrich ice and snow sports events,and create ice and snow sports brands;7.Strengthen the publicity of ice and snow,create the "ice and snow +" model,and create a good atmosphere of ice and snow.
