Research On Revenue And Expenditure Of International Federation Of Football Association(2014-2018)

The benefits of the World Cup in FIFA events are huge,not only reflected in the social benefits of FIFA but also economic benefits.This study analyzes the classification and analysis of FIFA's income and expense,clarifies the types and specific content of FIFA's income and expenditure and proposes FIFA's income sources and expenditure channels.Analyze the income and expenditure of FIFA,put forward the problems that FIFA has in income and expenditure,provide solutions for also learn from FIFA for the Chinese Football Association Financial and marketing strategies provide opportunities.In this paper,the definition and classification analysis of FIFA income and expenditure are summarized and analyzed through literature data method,logic analysis method,expert interview method,mathematical statistics method,text analysis and the following conclusions are drawn:1.FIFA's revenue comes from the five categories of FIFA's TV broadcast rights revenue,FIFA's marketing revenue,FIFA's license revenue,FIFA's hospitality and ticketing revenue,and FIFA's other revenues.FIFA expenditures mainly include expenditures related to FIFA events and activities,FIFA development and education related expenditures,FIFA TV broadcast and marketing expenditures,FIFA administrative expenditures,and FIFA football governance expenditures.2.The largest proportion of FIFA's revenue is FIFA's television broadcasting rights revenue,followed by FIFA's marketing revenue.In the year that the World Cup was held,television broadcasting revenues,marketing revenues,and hotel hospitality and ticketing revenues peaked.License income is generally on the rise.The FIFA Club World Cup has become a major source of other FIFA revenue.3.The main expenditures in FIFA expenditures are expenditures related to FIFA competitions and events,followed by FIFA development and education and finally FIFA governance and administrative expenditures.FIFA's investment in football development and education continues to increase.With the continuous improvement of the management system,FIFA's administrative expenditures are gradually decreasing.4.In the management of FIFA's income,there are problems such as the development of World Cup television broadcasting rights and insufficient marketing investment.Insufficient hospitality and ticketing revenue due to insufficient quality and level of other events;insufficient level of FIFA regional and national sponsorship development;Lack of transparency in FIFA administrative expenditures and imperfect governance systems.5.In the study of FIFA income and expenses,it played a certain role in the reform and development of the Chinese Football Association.Promote the Chinese Football Association to improve the income distribution system,promote financial disclosure,build a revenue sharing system and optimize the resource allocation of the Football Association,establish an effective supervision mechanism for the Chinese Football Association,and improve the internal governance structure of the Football Association to promote the reform of the Football Association.
