A Study On The Identity Of Revolutionary Culture Of Contemporary College Students

General Secretary Xi Jinping stressed at the 95 th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China that: "The revolutionary culture fostered in the great struggle of the Party and Chinese people,accumulates the deepest spiritual pursuit of the Chinese nation and represents the unique spiritual identity of the Chinese nation." From the words above,it is obvious that the revolutionary culture is a valuable spiritual wealth of the history and culture of the Chinese nation as well as a powerful spiritual driving force and cultural support for achieving national rejuvenation.The revolutionary culture has different connotations in different eras,but its core essence-firm ideals and convictions,profound patriotism,tenacious struggle spirit and persistent innovation spirit-has always been regarded as the spiritual bond of the Chinese nation and as the spiritual source of cultural self-confidence.Revolutionary cultural identity is a process of affirmative understanding and the active and deep practice of the value of revolutionary culture.As a qualified constructor and reliable successor of the cause of Socialism with Chinese characteristics,contemporary college students shoulder the responsibility of national rejuvenation and are the backbone of the realization of the Chinese dream.However,under the influence of the objective and subject environment,contemporary college students have insufficient understanding of the revolutionary culture,cognitively,emotionally and behaviorally.Through questionnaires,interviews and other survey methods,this paper understands the status quo of college students' recognition of revolutionary culture,analyzes their existing problems and causes,proposes countermeasures,and then strengthens contemporary college students' revolutionary cultural identity,which is conducive to enhancing college students' cultural self-confidence,helping them grow to fruition,and to implementing the fundamental tasks of strengthening morality education in colleges and universities.This essay contains four chapters.Chapter One,Introduction,introduces the background of the selection,the research status quo both at home and abroad,the research significance as well as the research methods.The second chapter briefly discusses the basic concepts of revolutionary culture and revolutionary cultural identity,and at the same time,expounds the basic connotation and generation logic of contemporary college students' revolutionary cultural identity.In the third chapter,through questionnaires and interviews,this paper examines the status quo of contemporary college students' revolutionary cultural identity from the aspects of cognitive identity,emotional identity and behavioral identity;besides,Chapter Three analyzes the achievements and existing problems and causes of college students' revolutionary cultural identity.The fourth chapter discusses the main strategies to strengthen the contemporary college students' revolutionary cultural identity.From the perspective of the main body of revolutionary culture education,we have to give play to the leading role of teachers,and to strengthen the demonstration role of parents' revolutionary cultural behaviors.From the subject of revolutionary cultural identity,we should lead college students to grasp accurately the theoretical connotation of revolutionary culture,to take voluntarily the lofty sense of revolutionary culture spirit,and to carry out actively the practice related to revolutionary culture.From the environment of revolutionary culture,we'd better optimize the atmosphere of the campus,of the network and of the society.From the methods to achieve revolutionary cultural identity,we could actively persuade and guide college students in order to promote the initiative identification.From the object of revolutionary cultural identity,it is conducive to actively demonstrating the scientific connotation of revolutionary culture,digging the contemporary value of revolutionary culture,enriching the dissemination form of revolutionary culture,and thus enhancing the culture of revolution radiation,cultivating the consciousness of revolutionary culture,promoting the integration of revolutionary culture,efforts should be made to make college students a firm believer,an active disseminator and a model practitioner of revolutionary culture.
