Contemporary college students,as the new generation of The Times,are the backbone of the country's development and relate to the future development trend of the society.A good ideological level,a firm political stance,a noble moral character,an independent personality and a healthy psychological quality are qualities that the new generation of The Times should possess,and they are directly related to the realization of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.The foundation of cultivating the new man in the plain age is intelligence and the forerunner is morality.The cultivation of new people in the era is a long-term and complicated work,which cannot be separated from the cooperation of family education,the leading role of school education,and the influence of social edification.In the new person cultivation system of The Times,colleges and universities play the main role,ideological and political work has the main channel function,ideological and political course teachers are in the leading position,the education and teaching process is at the key link,other educational forces should not be ignored.The rapid development of society and the changeable environment at home and abroad provide opportunities for the development of ideological and political work in colleges and universities,and also expose the shortcomings of ideological and political work in colleges and universities.For example,the main body of the education team is not sound,the education process is not closely connected,the education orientation is not coordinated and so on.In ideological and political education in colleges and universities as the research object,this paper begins with research of the related theoretical issues,based on the study of relevant theoretical knowledge and political education in colleges and universities in the aspects of education subject,education process and education orientation,so as to promote the high-quality development of ideological and political work in colleges and universities and improve the level of education work in colleges and universities.
