ASSURE mode is a classroom teaching design mode that integrates teaching media.It includes six basic teaching events: Analyse learners,State objective of learning,Select methods?media and materials?Utilize media and materials?Require Learner participation?Evaluate and revise.This model focuses on the design of the use of media in classroom teaching,It is a teaching design mode with great reference value and promotion significance.In this study,students from the sixth grade of Aksorn Pattaya School in Thailand are taken as the research object.The seventh lesson of Happy Chinese is Drinking Milk and not Coffee is a comprehensive teaching case.The teaching model is analyzed using the ASSURE teaching model as the theoretical framework.The basic elements in the course,including the teaching background,teaching objects,teaching materials,teaching methods,are designed for the lesson“Drink Milk and not Coffee”.This article will follow the six major steps for teaching design,flexible use,analysis of Thai primary school students' learning characteristics and personality characteristics,“ABCD” way to state teaching goals,choose appropriate teaching methods,media and technology,and use the “5P” principle to ensure the scientific use of media and materials requires students to actively participate in and get feedback from students in a timely manner,and finally evaluate and revise them to evaluate the learning effects and teaching process of Thai students.After teaching is completed,the teaching design plan is reflected and revised based on the teaching practice of Chinese classroom teaching,student learning,and student feedback.The full text is divided into four chapters as follows:Chapter1: Introduction.Includingresearch background,research significance,determination of research programs and methods,and related research reviews.By referring to relevant literature,consulting relevant materials,analyzing the current status of ASSURE teaching model and teaching design research,and elaborating the feasibility and necessity of combiningASSURE model with the comprehensive teaching of elementary Chinese for “Drink Milk and not Coffee”Chapter 2: Front-end analysis of the teaching design of “Drink Milk and not Coffee” based on ASSURE mode.Analyze the theoretical basis of the ASSURE model and introduce its six major steps.In combination with this lesson,analyze learners,state teaching goals,choose teaching methods media and materials,use media and materials,and require learners to participate,evaluate and revise.Chapter 3: Teaching design of drinking milk,not coffee based on ASSURE model.Including analysis of relevant elements of instructional design,instructional design scheme and instructional design process.Chapter 4: Teaching Evaluation and Reflection.Based on the detection of students' learning situation and learning effect,evaluate the teaching effect of the Comprehensive Chinese as a Foreign Language course using the ASSURE model,and reflect on the shortcomings and merits of the model.
