The Mechanism And Empirical Study On The Impact Of Low Carbon Economy On Employment In Shandong Province

With the development of society and economy,the demand for energy is increasingl y strong.As greenhouse gases emissions continue to grow,such as carbon dioxide,global climate warming and the world's ecological problems become more serious.All over the world began to actively carry out economic decarbonization and jointly tackle climate change and environmental issues,at the same time,China has promulgated relevant regulations and policies to promote the development of low-carbon economy,actively explore the path of economic development with low-carbon development.Shandong Province is an important economic province in the eastern part of China.It is also a model area for ecological civiliza t io n construction and social harmony and progress in the country.Shandong Province responded positively to the call of the state for the development of low-carbon economy.However,while the low-carbon economy in Shandong Province is changing,the total amount and structure of employment will change.Employment is an important indicator of people's livelihood and also an indispensable part of building a harmonious society.It is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the relationship between low-carbon economy and employment in Shandong Province.This paper combines theoretical research with empirical research,conducts quantitat i ve research while conducting qualitative research.With a full understanding of the mechanism and the relationship between low carbon economy and employment both at home and abroad,this paper makes a study on the current situation of low carbon economy development and employment in Shandong Province.Analyzes and collects a large amount of data to make an empirical analysis of the energy input and labor input in Shandong Province and formulates the corresponding policy suggestions based on the empirical results so as to provide a reference for Shandong Province in ensuring the development of low-carbon economy while ensuring the quantity and quality of employment.The results show that there is a complementary and balanced relationship between energy and employment in the three major industries in Shandong Province.There is no double dividend between energy conservation and employme nt in Shandong Province.The results of the model fitting show that restricting energy input will have a negative impact on economic development and employment in Shandong Province.Increasing energy costs through energy policies such as reducing energy inputs or raising energy prices will result in the reallocation of elements of the industry,the labor flowing to the low-energy-consuming industries and the improvement of the employment structure.Therefore,this paper proposes the following suggestions: firstly,improve industrial structure to ensure employment stability,secondly,adjust energy structure,develop and utilize renewable energy sources,thirdly,support the development of environmental protection technology,gradually implement energy conservation and emission reduction policies,last but not the least,strengthen training and education.
