In the era of mobile Internet,with the continuous iterative updating of digital media technology,the mobile short video industry develops rapidly.From the year of 2013 to 2018,the short video has gone through three stages: sprout,forefront and blowout,among them,tiktok become popular and all over the world and become superior in the teeming digital market by the "15 seconds short video".Nowadays,short video is gradually sinking into the vertical field.As a sunrise industry,the combination of sports industry and short video can be described as "icing on the cake".The communication mode of "sports + short video" has brought great changes to the field of sports communication,and also promoted the development of sports industry.Tiktok is one of the most popular occupation leagues in China.It is also the beneficiary of the short video communication era.Now,the NBA short video content is over 100 million on the shaking platform,and it becomes the most shortest sports IP with the most appeal of streaming video on the shaking.This thesis takes the semiotics as a theoretical perspective to conduct a study on the Tiktok NBA official short video.It is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which primarily describes the research background,research purpose and significance,research overview,research methods and innovation.Subsequently,the second chapter defines the related concepts involved in this thesis.In the third chapter,it combs the connotation of sports short video,the development status and types of NBA official short video by using the method of literature review method.The fourth chapter takes the visual symbols and auditory symbols as the framework,which increasingly describes the symbols constitute of Tiktok NBA's official short video and discusses its symbolic functions.The fifth chapter principally analyzes the semantic expression of NBA Tiktok.Ultimately,it discusses the existing problems of the NBA Tiktok short video and put forward the optimization paths and suggestions under the semiotic perspective.
