With the rapid development of smart phones and mobile Internet technology,various kinds of short video platforms represented by TikTok have become rapidly popular in China in recent years.TikTok short videos are particularly popular among contemporary college students in China.The college stage is the period when people's aesthetic perception is shaped and formed.As a smart media,TikTok's algorithm recommendation mechanism has an aesthetic bias.College students are immersed in TikTok short videos for a long time,and their aesthetic sense is bound to be deeply affected.Based on this realistic background,this paper adopts the methods of theoretical demonstration,questionnaire survey and case analysis to deeply study the influence of TikTok short videos on the aesthetic perception of contemporary college students in China.Aesthetic sense consists of aesthetic judgment and aesthetic habit.When college students use TikTok,the content of TikTok short videos makes their aesthetic judgment surface,while its transmission mode makes their aesthetic habit spectacular.This paper analyzes the influence of these two aspects in depth,and further summarizes the development trend of these influences on college students' aesthetic sense.Finally,through thinking about the relationship between college students' media literacy and aesthetic level,countermeasures are given to eliminate the negative effects.
