Research On The Application Of Dartfish Video Analysis Software In Short Distance Golf Putt

Objective: Golf will be introduced as an official sport in the 32 nd Tokyo Olympic Games.With the increase of golf's participation in the Olympic Games,the acceptance of golf in China is also increasing.Putt technique is a very important part of golf swing technique,but domestic research on golf putt kinematics analysis of is relatively few.This study intends to use Dartfish software to measure the movement of the players in different stages of the kinematics parameters,simplify the process of analysis and provide convenience for golf teaching and training,give some reference to other project which is using Dartfish to teach and research.Method and Measure: This study uses the method of experimental contrast,using threedimensional analysis system Vicon and Dartfish two-dimensional video analysis software on a golf professional player's putt data collection and analysis,and verifies the feasibility of the use of Dartfish and two mobile terminals in slow motion video mode(120 frames per second)for golf putter data acquisition and data analysis;Using two mobile terminals in slow motion video mode to capture the putt motion of Wuhan sports university golfers(13 golf students,1 golf teacher),measuring the distance between the ball and the hole after putt,and then use Dartfish for two-dimensional angle,distance,time parameter measurement,mathematical statistics method of each parameter correlation analysis.Results:(1)The measure distance between Dartfish and Vicon of the front and right sides of a putt is within 5%.(2)The average hit rate of teacher putt to the area with a radius of 25 cm into the center of the hole is 90%,which is higher than the average hit rate of the students,which is 65.9%.(3)The average golfer's shoulder width is 38.4 cm,the average stance width is 32.3 cm,most players choose position slightly narrower than the body shoulder width.(4)The average backswing time(0.628s)is about twice as long as the average downswing time(0.28s).(5)In the stage of follow-through,the average deviation distance of the players with their heads still(194.4mm)was smaller than that of the players with their heads turned(237.9mm).Conclusions:(1)In this study,the players in the process of the put used more than shoulder width batting stance,The putt movement of the golfer is a process of slow backswing and rapid downswing,the players on the average backswing angle is smaller than follow through angle,the golfers who position their body at the top of the follow-through deviation distance is relatively small.(2)It is feasible to apply Dartfish to analyze put technique,which is more convenient and easier to use than Vicon.
