| With the transformation of the popularization of higher education,the expansion of enrollment in colleges makes the number of fresh graduates break through the historical record every year.Coupled with the impact of slowing global economic and trade growth,industrial restructuring and other factors,the employment of college students is facing unprecedented challenges.The employment quality is one of the important indicators to measure the employment situation of college students and the level of college education,it is also an important factor related to social stability and economic development.Domestic theories and empirical studies on the employment quality of college students need to be enriched.The existing research results mostly discuss the improvement of employment quality from the macro level,such as employment policy support and employment security.From the personal level of college students,some studies have proved the influence of human capital on the employment quality of college students.From the perspective of work values,this paper uses the combination of literature research and empirical analysis to verify the influence mechanism of work values on employment quality.According to the research of job search theory,job search behavior has an important influence on the employment quality of college students.This paper clarifies the mediating role of job search strategy in the relationship between work values and employment quality.On this basis,this study introduces social network characteristics as moderating variables according to social capital theory,which further reveals the influence of social capital factors on work values.Through the investigation of 204 fresh graduates in two stages,this paper constructs a research model of work values-job search strategy-employment quality.The results show that :(1)work values has a positive effect on employment quality;(2)work values has a positive effect on focused strategy and a negative effect on exploratory and haphazard strategy;(3)the use of a focused strategy leads to higher employment quality,whereas the use of an exploratory and haphazard strategy reduces the quality of employment;(4)job search strategies plays a mediating role between work values and employment quality;(5)social network characteristics regulate the relationship between work values and employment quality.On the basis of summing up the conclusion of the full text,this paper puts forward some suggestions to promote the employment quality of college students from many levels,and also provides new ideas for the empirical research on college students' employment. |
