Math problem solving is the core content of math learning for junior high school students. The new curriculum emphasizes the cultivation of students' ability to solve mathematical problems. It is a complicated and long-term process.A considerable number of people believe that the knowledge structure and intelligence of students in junior high school are the main factors affecting the solution of mathematical problems. But mathematical problem solving in junior high school is a behavior that involves mental processes. In addition to being influenced by intellectual factors,it is also influenced by many non-intellectual factors, such as students' personal characteristics and external environment. From the perspective of non-intelligence factors, this paper adopts the method of combining theoretical research and practical research to conduct mathematics test on 117 junior middle school students.By investigating the test on students' ability to solve mathematical problems, the following conclusions were drawn.First of all, some junior high school students are not good at solving mathematical problems.Specifically,it shows that the reading comprehension ability is insufficient, and the ability of analyzing and solving problems needs to be further improved. In the process of solving problems, there is little reflection and evaluation.Secondly,it is concluded from the questionnaire that learning interest, study habits, study willpower, school environment and family environment are the main non-intellectual factors affecting the ability of junior high school students to solve mathematical problems. There is a significant correlation between the non-intelligence factors and the ability to solve mathematical problems in junior high school students. Then, this paper puts forward the cultivation strategy of mathematical problem solving ability of junior middle school students based on non-intelligence factors. The concrete way is to enrich the teaching form,to temper the junior high school students' learning will,to build a harmonious relationship between teachers and students,to create a good family environment. Finally, this paper has carried on the reflection and carries on the prospect to the future research.
