A Study On The Influence Of New Material Table Tennis On Ma Long's Skill And Tactics

China's table tennis team has been a constant winner in the world for decades The International Federation of ping-pong reformed the material and size of table tennis on July 1st 2014,to narrow the gap between Europe and Asia,especially China,promote the development of table tennis in the world stage.The celluloid table tennis,which has been used for 120 years is replaced with the main material for acetic acid fiber.Every reform is likely to change the pattern of world table tennis,but also brought a significant challenge to the Chinese table tennis team.After using the new material table tennis,many scholars have made qualitative analysis on the new material table tennis and its influence on the player's technique and the aspects of ball speed,rotation,bouncing board number and so on.For that reason,this study focuses on the influence of new material on the technique and warfare of Ma Long,an outstanding male athlete in China,before and after the use of the new material table tennis.Selecting important games of Ma Long in the use of celluloid table tennis and use of the new material table tennis period,a total of 102 games.By using literature method,video observation method,mathematical statistics method,three-paragraph index evaluation method and comparative analysis method,this paper makes a statistical and comparative study on the techniques,tactics,drop points and effects of Ma Long before and after using new material table tennis,.and the aim is to find out the changes of characteristics of Ma Long's technique and tactics before and after the use of new material table tennis,to provide some theoretical references for his future training and competition.The results show that :(1)During the serve break,the average utilization rate of Ma Long after the use of new material table tennis has been reduced,but the scoring rate has increased;the serve is mainly in the short middle road,with the backhand extremely long ball to restrain the opponent,but the serve effect is obviously reduced because of the increase in volume and weight of the ball,but also increase the difficulty of the third board attack;the snatch more use backhand pull,and reduce the use frequency of side pull.(2)In the shooting phase,after the new material is used,Ma Long's serve is still dominated by control techniques,but because the speed and rotation of the ball have decreased compared with the original,it has increased the difficulty of reduces the score rate of pendulum short.As a result,Ma Long has increased the use of forehand and backhand split-length technology,but also increased the frequency of backhand twist-pull attack,to further expand the advantage of serve snatching.(3)During the phase,Ma Long's utilization rate has not changed much after the new material table tennis was used,but the scoring rate has increased;the side utilization rate has increased significantly while the front and backhand utilization rate has decreased significantly after the replacement of the new material table tennis.In addition,after using the new material table tennis,the center of gravity moves backwards,and the number of matches between athletes is increasing.Ma Long needs to strengthen defensive confrontation while highlighting the technical advantages of the forehand,to achieve the goal of improving comprehensive competitive ability.
