Classical Chinese reading teaching has always been an important part of Chinese teaching in senior high schools. With the further deepening of education and teaching reform, how to improve and optimize the teaching of classical Chinese reading in senior high schools has become the focus of Chinese educators. At present, there are still some problems in the teaching of classical Chinese reading in senior high schools that can not be improved or even solved in a short time.In the form of observation and questionnaires, the author investigates the contemporary high school students and the current high school language teachers, and draws a conclusion that the traditional classical Chinese reading teaching mode has universal problems.Among them are:unreasonable teaching objectives, single teaching methods, students lack good learning habits, teaching purposes and students' learning purposes are too utilitarian. However, the new teaching mode "divided classes" proposed by Zhang Xuexin in2014 aims to ensure the students' principal position in the classroom, increase the interaction between teachers, students and students, and enable students to improve their learning efficiency more effectively and consciously. To a certain extent,it can improve the existing problems of traditional teaching methods, and even possibly solve some "old and difficult" problems, which is worth trying out.It is used in the teaching of classical Chinese reading in senior high school. This paper applies the teaching mode of "divided classes" to the teaching of classical Chinese reading in senior high schools, and summarizes the characteristics of its implementation, especially its advantages.Firstly, the author collates the current implementation of "divided classes" in China,as well as the achievements and effectiveness of "divided classes" through the collected literature on "divided classes".Secondly, the teaching practice of "Candle Wu Returning to Teacher Qin" is carried out with "divided classes" as the carrier, and the results of this practice are evaluated and summarized, which proves that "divided classes" can indeed make up for some deficiencies in traditional teaching methods. Finally,in view of the application of "separate classes" to the teaching of classical Chinese reading in senior high schools, this paper puts forward some pertinent suggestions.
