Junior high school is an important period for the development of teenagers,with strong and unstable emotions.The increase of aggression in this period will not only harm physical and mental health,but also affect daily learning and life.Therefore,this study explores the characteristics of anger inhibition and aggression,the relationship between the anger inhibition and aggression,the influence of anger inhibition on aggression,the mediating effects of peer relationship and self-esteem on anger inhibition and aggression,in order to provide a theoretical basis and experimental proof for reducing the aggression of teenagers,the influencing factors of aggression should be further analyzed.This paper is divided into two parts.In study 1,junior middle school students in a middle school in X city were used to examine the characteristics of anger inhibition and aggression,the relationship between the anger inhibition and aggression,the effect of anger inhibition on aggression by emotional go/no go task and Taylor's competitive response time task(CRT).In the study 2,increase the number of subjects on the basis of study 1,and added the peer assessment,the “Adolescent self-esteem questionnaire” and the “Aggressive questionnaire of middle school students” and combined with the same emotional go / no go task as study 1 to examine peer relationship and self-esteem the role of mediate the influence of anger inhibition on aggression.According to previous literature,the structural equation model of the mediating effect among four variables is constructed,among two mediation paths,anger inhibition affects junior high school students' aggressiveness through peer relationship and anger inhibition will affect aggressiveness through peer relationship and self-esteem.Using spss21.0 and mplus7 statistical software to analyze the data,the following conclusions are obtained:(1)There was a significant negative correlation between anger inhibition and aggressive behavior,which had a significant predictive effect;(2)There was a significant positive correlation between anger inhibition and age;(3)Junior high school students' peer relationship was positively correlated with anger inhibition and self-esteem,while aggression was negatively correlated with peer relationship and self-esteem;(4)Junior high school students' anger inhibition indirectly affects their aggressiveness through peer relationship;(5)Junior high school students' anger inhibition indirectly affects their aggressivenessthrough the chain mediation of peer relationship and self-esteem.Finally,according to the conclusion of this study and the learning and living environment of teenagers,the paper puts forward some corresponding education suggestions,that is,(1)to help adolescents to do a good job in emotional management,learn to use effective emotional regulation strategies;(2)to help adolescents form a harmonious and friendly peer relationship and master the skills of peer communication;(3)to improve the level of self-esteem of adolescents.
