For a long time, physics has been regarded as the most difficult subject in high school, difficult to learn and difficult to teach. The phenomenon of polarization in physical achievement is widespread.Under the background of the new reform of college entrance examination, the physics subject is facing the awkward situation of being abandoned and rejected,As a result. Many students give up physics learning early in their first year of high school, which further increased the degree of polarization in physical achievement. In the basic pedagogy period of high school, the excessive polarization in physical achievement is not conducive to the implementation of improving the scientific literacy of all the students which emphasized in the curriculum standard. It's also not conducive to the teachers to make teaching plans suitable for all the students, and not conducive to the benign development of ecology education in high school. The purpose of this paper is to describe the phenomenon of polarization in physical achievement and analyzes the factors and puts forward reasonable suggestions. After defining the concepts through literature analysis, this paper investigated the polarization in physical achievement of high school students in Dagang Oilfield.Firstly, the author compared and analyzed the performance data of each subject in college entrance examination in2019,school B,and then collected academic performance data from several schools.Conducted the samples and analyzed a difference coefficient on the data of physics scores among the students from different groups according to the objects, school, grade and age as well as the gender by using SPSS software. As a result, the author made a description to the phenomenon of polarization in physical achievement for normal high schools,in Dagang Oilfield.Meanwhile,on the basis of literature review, questionnaire and interview outline were designed to investigate factors such as physical learning interest, learning motivation,self-efficacy,family relationship and school education environment.Combined with the results of the questionnaire and interview,it is concluded that the above factors impacted the phenomenon of achievement polarization in physics. The investigation results of this paper on the phenomenon ofachievement polarization showed up the following facts.Compared with other subjects, there is a serious polarization in physics. The degree and trend of achievement polarization of students in the same class but different schools are diverse, and the degree and trend of achievement polarization of students in different classes but the same school are diverse, while there are certain similarities. The degree and trend of achievement polarization of male and female students are also different, and the degree of achievement polarization of female students is higher than that of male students in most stages.Combed the results of questionnaire and interview, the following conclusions are reached. The differences in learning interest, learning motivation and self-efficacy among non-intelligence factors lead to the phenomenon of polarization in achievement.Differences in family relationships and parental involvement in learning management lead to the phenomenon of polarization in achievement. The inequality of school education management mode aggravates the phenomenon of polarization in achievement.Summarized the results of this paper, the author puts forward some suggestions on restraining or alleviating the achievement polarization of high school students: Attach importance to the cultivation of students' non-intellectual factors;Optimize the family relationship, enhance effective communication;Optimize the layered teaching, and advocate multiple evaluation;Optimize educational ecology, promote educational equity.
