Analysis And Research On The Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Ningxia's Wooden Ball Game

The wooden ball game originated from Ningxia,which was successful listed as the thirty-first of Ningxia's nonmaterial cultural heritage lists.As a favorite sport for Hui people in Ningxia,it bears athletic value,special political significance and uniqe cultural connotation as a traditional sport of chinese minoritie.listed in nonmaterial cultural heritage lists successfully also reflects the importance of this sport.Therefore,this paper analyzes current situation in schools and civil with the methods of Literature review,Field survey,Expert interview,questionaire survey,mathematical statistics.It main content contains:The first one includes the necessity of carrying out the wooden ball game,the condition about how well the students know this game and the student's participation in it.Through investigation and analysis,we get to know the student's knowledge of this game is relatively low,few students involved in it and the popularity in school is not high.Schools have more students of Hui ethnicity in Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,and Ningxia is the birthplace of the wooden ball game,so it has a good mass base and congenital condition to popularize the sport.The second one includes the funds and playing fields of folk wooden ball game,the essential information about athletes and coaches of folk sport teams,and the case of their training and competition.Through investigation and analysis,we get to know that the popularity of wooden ball game is high in civil,more and more athletes entered the Ningxia's minority traditional sports game.There are also some problems such as the athletes lacks of systematic and periodically training,a large gap between athletes,the coaches lacks of theoretical knowledge and match experience,the deficiency of sports facilities,the government invested too little for the wooden ball game.All of this limited its development.Meanwhile,this paper also do some statistic analysis about national and regional competition regulation of the wooden ball game,to find the advantages and disadvantages of development.Through these investigation and analysis,the author want to propose some opinions about how to provide better protection,inheritance and development for the wooden ball game and promote the sport holds more attentions of people by studying the development condition of the wooden ball game.
