Through analysis of the research status of pearl ball.It can better understand the current level of development of the pearl ball scientific research,analysis of the existing problems and future research developments and so on.Which provide a theoretical basis for guiding the scientific research of the Pearl Ball and promote the campaign forward and improve.In this thesis,the research method is Literature data, Comparative analysis,Mat-hematical statistics and Logical analysis.we collect56research papers of Pearl Ball published in Chinese Journals and used EXCEL classification.Identifying the existing problems and causes, and some suggestions.The results:1.The sports core journals published only two papers which are published in the "Beijing Sport University" and "Sports Culture Guide".Others general journals are54and they increased slightly each year.But projects of research papers on Pearl Ball is0.2.The study mainly is Pearl Ball Rules and Referees,the Pearl Ball development and promotion,the feasibility of Pearl Ball in Colleges and Universities and Pearl Ball technology and sports features and functions.Study of factors affecting the development of the Pearl Ball, pearl ball teaching and pearl ball and basketball contrast are weaker.3.The main problems of Chinese Journals pearl ball sports papers during2002--2012are less bright and innovative research,more similar and identical study.The main factors:Pay no enough attention to the research of pearl ball project,View of research is not open enough,The lack of funds for scientific research,Research team structural imbalances.4.Development pearl ball and research in China countermeasures and suggestions,First,Clear the current and future focus and emphasis of pearl ball scientific research.Then,Increase investment in the Pearl Ball scientific research funding and strengthen the positive reporting of project establishment.Finally to optimize the establishment of research echelon,To develop the potential of scientific research personnel.
