Research purpose: Through data analysis of the technical movements of professional and ordinary wooden ball players at different stages of their swing movements,to explore the technical characteristics of different stages in the entire swing process of wooden ball, aiming to enrich the theoretical research of wooden ball movement, and provide theoretical support and reference basis for the teaching and training of wooden ball movement and subsequent related research.Research methods: Using methods such as literature review, experiment, and mathematical statistics,20 professional and 20 ordinary wooden ball players were selected.Surface electromyography data were collected from the experimental subjects during the upper, lower, and follow up stages of the swing, and the technical characteristics of the wooden ball swing were analyzed.Research results:The results of the analysis of the upper stroke stage of the wooden ball swing:(1)There was a very significant difference between professional athletes and ordinary athletes in the integrated myoelectric values of the right lateral oblique muscles, the left biceps brachii, and the right latissimus dorsi(P<0.01),while there was a significant difference between the integrated myoelectric values of the right biceps brachii, and the right rectus abdominis(P<0.05).In addition, the integrated EMG values of the left pectoralis major, rectus abdominis, right lateral oblique, and latissimus dorsi of professional athletes are larger, while the muscles with larger integrated EMG values of ordinary athletes are the right pectoralis major, left lateral oblique, and right triceps brachii,respectively;(2)There was a significant difference in the root mean square amplitude of the right rectus abdominis between professional athletes and ordinary athletes(P<0.01),and there was a significant difference between the right biceps brachii, right latissimus dorsi, right lateral oblique abdominis, and left lateral oblique abdominis(P<0.05);(3)The main muscles of professional athletes in the upper pole stage are the latissimus dorsi and rectus abdominis, while the main muscles of ordinary athletes are the triceps and biceps brachii;(4)There was a significant difference between professional athletes and ordinary athletes in the integral EMG contribution rate of the right triceps brachii, right latissimus dorsi, right lateral oblique muscles, and other muscles during the swing up phase(P<0.01),while there was a significant difference between the right biceps brachii, left latissimus dorsi, and left rectus abdominis muscles(P<0.05).The results of the analysis of the down stroke stage of the wooden ball swing:(1)There was a significant difference between professional athletes and ordinary athletes in the integrated EMG values of the right pectoralis major, left and right latissimus dorsi, rectus abdominis, and left lateral oblique muscles(P<0.01),while there was a significant difference in the integrated EMG values of the left biceps brachii, left latissimus dorsi, and left rectus abdominis(P<0.05).In addition, the integrated EMG values of the right latissimus dorsi, left lateral oblique abdominis, and left pectoralis major muscles of professional athletes are larger, while the muscles with larger integrated EMG values of ordinary athletes are the right lateral oblique abdominis, left rectus abdominis, and right triceps brachii,respectively;(2)The root mean square amplitude values of the right biceps brachii, the left latissimus dorsi, the left rectus abdominis, and the left and right lateral oblique muscles were significantly different between professional athletes and ordinary athletes(P<0.01),while there was a significant difference between the left triceps brachii and the right triceps brachii(P<0.05);(3)The main muscle of professional athletes and ordinary athletes in the lower pole stage is the external oblique muscle;(4)There was a significant difference between professional athletes and ordinary athletes in the integral EMG contribution rate of the right latissimus dorsi, left latissimus dorsi, right lateral oblique abdominis, and right pectoralis major muscles during the lower stroke stage of the swing(P<0.01),while there was a significant difference between the right biceps brachii, left lateral oblique abdominis, and left rectus abdominis(P<0.05).During the swing stage of wooden ball swing:(1)There was a significant difference between professional athletes and ordinary athletes in the integrated EMG values of the right pectoralis major, left and right latissimus dorsi, rectus abdominis, and left lateral oblique muscles(P<0.01),while there was a significant difference in the integrated EMG values of the left biceps brachii, left latissimus dorsi, and left rectus abdominis(P<0.05);(2)There was a significant difference in the root mean square amplitude of the right lateral oblique muscle between professional athletes and ordinary athletes(P<0.01),while there was a significant difference in the right rectus muscle(P<0.05);(3)In the follow up stage, the main muscles of professional athletes are the left lateral oblique muscle and the right latissimus dorsi, while the main muscles of ordinary athletes are the right biceps brachii and the left triceps brachii;(4)There was a significant difference between professional athletes and ordinary athletes in the integral EMG contribution rate of the right lateral oblique and rectus abdominis muscles during the swing phase(P<0.01),while there was a significant difference between the left pectoralis major and the right triceps brachii muscles(P<0.05).Research conclusion: The differences between professional athletes and ordinary athletes in wooden ball swing movements are mainly the common result of differences in muscle force order and coordinated force.
