A Comparative Study Of The Technical Characteristics Of The Shooting In The Men's Three-player Basketball Game At The Quarter-finals,2018 Asian Games

With the rapid development of the three-player basketball,the three-player basketball has now become an Olympic sport and is about to be played at the Tokyo Olympics.It is the important part of improving the three-player basketball in China that understands the level of development and strength of three-player basketball in other countries.The three-man basketball “debuted” at the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta and the same year,Chinese team won the championship in this competition.In the thesis,the author conducted a comparative study of the data related to the technical characteristics of the three-player basketball game at the quarter-finals to identify the characteristics of each team's shooting technology,which is of great significance to the subsequent study of three-player basketball.This thesis studies and analyzes the technical characteristics of shooting in three-player basketball game at the quarter-finals by means of literature,video observation and data analysis,and finally the author draws the following conclusions:1.From the points scored by the teams in the quarter-finals,the main method of getting score for each team is from the 1-point ball.Each team used 2-pointers more often,but the hit rate was lower.Thailand team and the other three teams have a large difference in strength,which is specifically shown by the team's overall shot count is less,and the 1-point and 2-point shots scoring efficiency is lower than the other three teams.Iran scored mainly on 1-pointers and shot a higher percentage than the other three teams.South Korea team is not good enough for the end of the game and cannot pull up the score when they get the advantage.In China's team,2-pointers are one of the main means of getting score,and the scoring efficiency is high.China's team have a good command of seizing 2-pointers to tie the game.2.As for the basketball shooting area,in the quarter-finals,Area 1 is the highest place that overall shots and points has been made in.The shooting zone is mainly concentrated in the basket area and the frontal 2-point area.Thailand team's shooting area was unevenly distributed,scoring mainly on 1-pointers inside the 1-point zone,while the shooting times and the hitting percentages are all lower.Iran team is good at making use of players' physical advantage to shoot and score in the restricted zone,thus they shoot and score the most efficiently in area 1.South Korea team's primary scoring zone is the area 1,followed by the area 10 located in the 2-point zone.Unlike the other three teams,China team's shooting zones were more evenly distributed and the highest number of shots were from the area 10.China's team excels at using the three-man basketball rule to attack shots at the top of the arc using the serve offense.3.The author's analysis of individual shooting technique shows that in the three-player basketball game at the quarter-finals,the shot used the most time was the jump shot,which compared to the other two shooting techniques hit a low percentage but scored the highest percentage.Thailand team did not choose a suitable shooting offense in the game,and thus it has a low hit rate for each shooting technique.The Iranian team had the advantage of shooting between the lines,which had a 93.34% success rate.4.From the analysis of shooting data of players in each game,it is concluded that Thailand team and Iran team are both playing around the inner line,but the personal strength of the players in the two teams is quite different.Only one player of Thailand team has strong ability to obtain the score.After the player is closely defended,the team's scoring ability had been weakened,which is the key reason for the failure of the game.When the Iranian team gained the advantage in the inner line,they changed their playing methods,so they got the chance to shoot 2 points and ended the game quickly.The South Korean team is inclined to attack with 1-point ball and shoot between the lines.South Korea team cooperation is less,mainly relied on single attack scoring.China featured the use of 2-pointers and the use of catch-and-shoot offensive techniques for scoring.
