Nowadays,the science,technology and economy of our society develop rapidly.While people are pursuing economic development,the reform of information technology curriculum is also advancing.The former content system based on software operation skills is gradually changing to the content system focusing on the core accomplishment of computing thinking and other disciplines.Computational thinking as an ability to solve problems in an orderly way can simplify and optimize problems.At present,a large number of experts and scholars at home and abroad combine the study of computational thinking and programming tools to cultivate the comprehensive ability of solving problems of primary and secondary school students.However,the study on the teaching method of computational thinking ability is still in the exploratory stage,and the existing training model has not been proved by the relevant curriculum standards.Based on this,the visual programming tool is used as the carrier to study the application of primary school students' computational thinking teaching mode.Firstly,the connotation and related research contents of computational thinking in literature research data are sorted out to form a preliminary theoretical framework of computational thinking.Secondly,according to the cognitive understanding of computational thinking,the actual situation of students and the use of visual programming tools,to construct the teaching mode of elementary school students' computational thinking in visual programming and corresponding teaching activities are designed and implemented.Finally,the development of students' computational thinking ability is evaluated with the application of computational thinking test to verify the promotion effect of this research on cultivating students' computational thinking and the improvement of students' learning ability.The practical research shows that the visual programming for the development of elementary school students' computational thinking can significantly train the students' computational thinking ability,especially in the decomposition of tasks,abstract problems,summary and evaluation of outstanding achievements,in the training of algorithm thinking is also relatively improved.In a word,this teaching mode not only improves students' ability to solve problems by using computational thinking,but also effectively stimulates students' learning motivation,improves students' learning efficiency,and helps students transfer problem thinking and solving methods into their daily study and life.
