Research On The Teaching Effect Of Game Teaching Method In College Swimming Elective Course

Research on game teaching method shows that game teaching method can arouse students' enthusiasm,enhance their self-confidence and improve their ability in many sports techniques.However,these theories have no systematic statement for college students.It is hoped that through this experimental study,students of this age can be better and more effectively helped to improve their athletic performance and physical fitness and better serve the teaching objects.No teaching method is perfect,so is the game teaching method.Through research,we can summarize the shortcomings of this teaching method in the experiment.This paper uses the methods of literature review,interview and experiment to carry out research.Game teaching method is applied to swimming club of Jiangsu Normal University.The experimental group of 50 people adopts game teaching method and the control group of 50 people adopts conventional teaching method.The purpose is to compare and analyze the effects of the two teaching methods on the performance and physical fitness of college swimming club students.The results are as follows:(1)in the swimming speed and swimming skill of college students,the game teaching method is more significant than the conventional teaching method.(2)The game teaching method and the conventional teaching method have obvious promotion effect on the improvement of students' speed quality and endurance quality.(3)The game teaching method plays an important role in promoting the development of flexibility and sensitivity of college students,but for improving the strength quality,the game teaching method is not as obvious as the conventional teaching method.(4)Generally speaking,the game teaching method is better than the conventional teaching method in College Swimming Club Teaching.Suggestions:(1)Strengthen the application of game teaching method in swimming teaching and improve the application value of game teaching method in swimming.(2)Strengthen the application of game teaching method in physical education.(3)Instructors should study design teaching more and explore more teaching methods to improve students' interest in learning.(4)It is suggested that game teaching method should be combined with various teaching methods.
