Infectious diseases are an important global public health problem.At present,In the junior high school biology teaching of compulsory education stage in China,the content of infectious diseases and prevention education is limited,which cannot fully meet the needs of students' life and growth.Therefore,based on the biology teaching in junior high school,the development and opening of "infectious diseases and prevention" school-based elective courses is of great practical value and significance to develop students' healthy life literacy.This research focuses on infectious diseases and prevention,excavates the biology related curriculum resources of junior high school,carried out the school-based curriculum development and practice of "infectious diseases and prevention",in order to improve the students' awareness of infectious diseases prevention,guide students to form healthy and civilized behavior habits and lifestyles,improve students' health literacy in infectious diseases prevention,and promote students to live a healthy life.In the study,guided by the theories of school-based curriculum development,infectious diseases and prevention and healthy life literacy,the research has carried out the research on the development and implementation of school-based curriculum of "infectious diseases and prevention" with the methods of literature,investigation,observation,experiment and action research.The study carried out a questionnaire survey and analysis of student status and needs among 573 students of grade two at Kunming Great Wall Middle School in Yunnan Province,Based on the results of this survey,the course goals and content of the school-based course of "infectious diseases and prevention" in junior high school were determined,and lecture notes were prepared.The school-based curriculum was implemented through a variety of teaching methods,targeting at 40 students who took the course,and evaluated and reflected on the school-based curriculum.Studies have shown that the development and implementation of the "infectious diseases and prevention" school-based curriculum can not only improve students' ability and awareness of infectious disease prevention,develop students' healthy life literacy,improve teachers' professional literacy,but also effectively promote the construction of school-specific school-based curriculum to a certain extent.
