Public health safety education for infectious diseases is a public undertaking that concerns everyone.A good public health literacy level of citizens is an important cornerstone for the stable development of society,and a good public health environment is an important basic condition for citizens to live a happy life.The Chinese Ministry of Education has successively issued guidelines such as the "Guiding Guidelines for Public Safety Education in Primary and Secondary Schools","Core Competence for the Development of Chinese Students","Implementation Opinions on Strengthening National Security Education in Universities,Middle Schools and Primary Schools",and "Guiding Guidelines for National Security Education in Universities,Middle Schools and Primary Schools".These documents require the strengthening of safety education for students.This shows that the leadership level of our country attaches great importance to safety education,but the actual implementation of safety education still needs to be improved.In particular,the COVID-19(Corona Virus Disease 2019)that swept the world in 2020 has made people further realize the importance of public health safety education for infectious diseases in schools.Biology is a natural science subject,and it has an excellent advantage to conduct infectious disease public health safety education in biology.This article mainly investigates the level of public health safety literacy of infectious diseases of high school students,the current status of public health safety education of infectious diseases in high schools,especially in the biology,and analyzes the infectious disease related examination questions in various regions in the past five years.According to the above results,the corresponding teaching strategies for public health safety education of infectious diseases are proposed,and the materials for such education in the compulsory biology textbook of the People's Education Edition are researched and part of the contents of the teaching design is displayed.The results of the questionnaire survey of this study showed that 95.19% of high school students' public health awareness of infectious diseases is at a very good and relatively good level;at the behavioral level,the percentage of good and above levels is46.78%,and the general level is 31.28%;The correct answer rate of infectious disease related public health safety knowledge was 79.9%.The level of public health literacy of infectious diseases of high school students is generally good,and the level of behavior is significantly lower than the level of knowledge and awareness.Judging from the statistical results of the public health and safety education of infectious diseases in schools,the main source for students to obtain such knowledge is the classroom penetration of biology teachers.The safety education of class teachers and related films,exhibitions and posters are all theoretical education.They accounted for 91.55%,75.82% and 60.56% respectively.The lack of practical and systematic public health safety education for infectious diseases in schools may be one of the reasons why students' behavioral standards are relatively weak.Further comparison of differences shows that girls are significantly higher than boys in awareness and behavior,but there is no difference in knowledge level;there is no significant difference in the overall literacy level of infectious disease public health safety among students of different grades;in terms of class attributes,key points The overall literacy level of class students is significantly higher than that of non-key classes.The analysis of the "infectious diseases" test questions in the college entrance examination questions in various regions in the past five years found that the content of infectious diseases is a hot topic in the college entrance examination questions,usually combined with immunization,experiments,etc.,and the way of questioning is more inclined to assess students' biology core literacy.The results of the interview show that high school biology teachers strongly agree with the introduction of infectious disease public health safety education in high school biology,but the form is relatively simple,and most of the expansion is based on teaching materials,mainly due to the lack of resources,difficulty in developing practical courses,and difficulties in exam-oriented education.Based on the above results,the following teaching enlightenment is drawn: At the school level,it is necessary to increase the basic materials for the prevention and control of infectious diseases,enrich the forms of public health safety education for infectious diseases,attach importance to biological experiment teaching,strengthen cooperation with universities,and establish public health safety education for infectious diseases Practice base;at the level of teachers,we must change our concepts,focus on cultivating core literacy of biology,expand the methods of material research,develop school-based courses,strengthen the combination of theory and practice,strengthen teacher cooperation,exert group strength,and build resource sharing and communication platforms to further promote infectious diseases.Efforts to improve the public health literacy of students in infectious diseases,and contribute to national public health safety.
