Objectives: Through understanding the difference between mini basketball and adult ball participation in teaching on the coordination and sensitive quality of primary school students.To explore the differences between the intervention of mini basketball and adult ball in the classroom for primary school students and the outstanding points in terms of equipment,provided reference basis and suggestions for the innovation of primary school physical education teaching and basketball training methods.Methods: Literature method,interview method,mathematical statistics method,questionnaire method,and experimental teaching method were mainly used.The primary school students aged 8-12 in Jiaxiang Experimental Primary School of Shandong Province were tested before and after 16 weeks of experimental teaching.Results: The results indicated that the two groups showed significant differences before and after the five tests of jumping in the cross quadrant,4×10m round-trip running,left and right dribbling,rope ladder dribbling and dribbling around the bar(P < 0.01),there was no significant difference between the mini ball group and the adult ball group(P > 0.05)in the cross-quadrant jump,4×10m round-trip run,and dribbling around the bar,there was a significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.01)in the post-test of left and right dribbling,there was a significant difference between groups(P < 0.05)in the post-test of rope ladder dribbling.In the interest and satisfaction questionnaire,there was a significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.01),there was a significant difference before and after test in the mini ball group(P < 0.01),there was a significant difference in satisfaction before and after measurement in the adult ball group(P < 0.05).Conclusions:1.After 16 weeks of experimental teaching,basketball played a positive role in improving the coordination and agility of primary school students.2.In terms of improving the upper limb coordination and ball sense of primary school students,the effect of taking part in teaching with adult basketball was better than that of mini basketball.In terms of improving general coordination,general sensitivity quality and special sensitivity quality,there was no obvious difference between the effectof the adult ball and the effect of the mini basketball.3.After 16 weeks of experimental teaching,the satisfaction degree of using adult ball was improved,the interest and satisfaction degree of students using mini basketball was improved greatly.The student who played mini basketball could also master basketball technical movement better and faster.
