Exploration On The Practice Mode Of Palliative Care Of Social Work From The Perspective Of Life Care

With the progress and development of social civilization,people are constantly pursuing a better quality of life,and put forward higher requirements for the quality of life of terminal patients.Our society pays more and more attention to the value of life and the significance of survival,especially in the face of major diseases such as cancer and the moment of near death.In our country,not only life and death education is generally lacking in national education,but also life education and death education are not necessary for most medical students and social workers majors.Under the traditional cultural background of our country,people are more taboo about the words such as death,and lack in-depth thinking about the "good death" and "good death" of dying patients.With the change of the main social contradictions and the change of medical model in modern society,people's demand for social work of tranquil care has become more and more urgent.People's increasing demand for the concept of "whole person" service and diversification of body,mind,society and spirit has attracted increasing attention.The issues of "living and dying with dignity","good death" and "good death" have gradually become the topics of concern.Secondly,the development of social work profession and profession based on the concept of "helping others and helping themselves" promotes the gradual specialization and subdivision of social work.Under this background,medical social workers gradually enter the hospital medical humanities team in the form of "embedding",and social workers also become an important part of the humanities team of palliative care.In this study,qualitative research methods were used to study terminal cancer patients and their family members,medical staff,psychologists,social workers and volunteers engaged in palliative care services in hospice ward.Participatory observation and documentation were used to collect data from clinical practice cases and materials of patients who directly served and participated in observation for a long time.Typical research objects and information saturated case materials were selected to fully construct a localized social work practice mode of palliative care.From the perspective of life care,clinical medical social workers review personal experience,reflect on practical experience,summarize social life practice,summarize practical wisdom,summarize practical experience,and then explore and summarize the practice mode of social work of palliative care.The research finds that under the current practice background of multidisciplinary and multidisciplinary team cooperation,which is widely respected at home and abroad,and based on the life care theory and perspective,"with ‘case owner's self-determination" and "demand-oriented" as the core of practice,the values,ethics and methods of social work specialty are organically integrated with the concept and practice of the discipline of tranquility therapy and nursing.Social work practice mode mainly includes the source and classification of service objects,core service concept and principle,social work service content of palliative care,social work service mode of palliative care,reflection and summary of social work practice specialty of palliative care,and so on.It explores palliative care with Chinese characteristics and suits our national conditions and culture step by step.
