Research On The Transformation Of Physical Preconception In Experimental Teaching

Based on years of teaching experience,the author finds that stubborn preconceptions always hinder students' learning of physical science concepts and laws.Experiments are the foundation of physics,and physical concepts are explored,formed and verified by physical experiments.Therefore,the author tries to apply experimental teaching to the transformation from preconception to scientific concept and conducts an investigation and research on this method within the scope of the first-grade mechanical module in senior high school.Research first takes cognitive development theory and constructivist learning theory as the main theoretical basis,draws lessons from domestic and foreign scholars on the research of preconceptions,and carries out a questionnaire survey among new studengts in our school.Combining with the investigation into the interview of some teachers and students,the author organizes the students' preconceptions in mechanics category,and sums up the students' current defects of study thinking.Then the author expounds the experimental teaching strategies that could transformate preconceptions possibly one by one,and makes comments on them.Combining with the experimental teaching method,with the help of the segment teaching design of "sliding friction direction" concept transformation,the organic combination of different teaching links and concept transformation conditions is analyzed with examples.At last,the students were tested in the questionnaire after one semester of study.The test results have been used to analyze and verify the effectiveness of experimental teaching,and five strategies of experimental teaching aboat transformation of preconceptions are proposed.The research results show that the physical experimental teaching is more effective than the conventional teaching.And the physics experiment teaching has also imperceptibly cultivated the students' physics study interest and the realistic scientific attitude.It is hoped that this research can be used to improve the attention paid by front-line teachers to the preconcept,to urge teachers to pay more attention to the students' preconcept,its causes and characteristics,to strengthen the pertinence and purpose of the lessons,to make the teaching targeted,and to improve the teaching efficiency.Besides,the research is looked forward to help students better grasp physical concepts,enhance theirconfidence in learning physics,and improve their learning thinking,their comprehensive abilities of experiment and problem solving.In terms of teaching,while enriching teaching materials,the author advocates giving attention to experimental teaching,expects to repair the problem that traditional teaching attaches more importance to knowledge imparting but less importance to attitude cultivation,hopes to make up the deficiency that theoretical knowledge is divorced from life practice,and wish to further improve the efficiency of physics teaching.
