General Secretary Xi Jinping at the national conference on propaganda and ideological work has pointed out: "the ideological work is the important work of an extreme,history and reality prove repeatedly,can do a good job in ideology is a matter of the party's fate,is a matter of national security,is a matter of national cohesion and centripetal force,and Historical Nihilism is an ideology domain under the wrong ideological trend,on the basis of western idealism thought,it reflects the specific group of some political requirements and interests,to the socialist countries especially the countries,led by the leadership of the communist party revolution take negative negative attitude,distort history and discredit heroes of history.Political values are a a kind of value choice for people's political thought and life behavior.Contemporary college students are in the stage that the three views have not been fully formed.Under the influence of historical nihilism,it is easy to have vague cognition of political values,produce the phenomenon that the stand is not firm and the values are shifted.This paper discusses from four aspects with the methods of literature research,investigation and historical analysis.The first part is to explain the origin and evolution of Historical Nihilism,the definition of university students' political values and the current situation.The second part analyzes the political background,cultural background,economic background and its five main manifestations of historical nihilism.The third part through to the Shanxi Province part of the college students by questionnaire investigation and study,understand the specific situation of the audience and attitude towards Historical Nihilism,from the political view,values,history three dimension analysis of Historical Nihilism to the harm of college students political values,specific Historical Nihilism five main influential factors of college students.The fourth part is based on the specific analysis of the causes of harm to college students,and puts forward the measures of adhering to the guiding status of marxism,improving the level of social governance,improving the ideological and political education environment of college students,and perfecting relevant policies,laws and regulations.
