Economics development is a main issue challenging developed and developing nations and extremely affects social and monetary conditions.It is in this manner critical to find a way to take out or decrease the effect of this issue.There are several commitments of technical and vocational education and training(TVET)together with foreign direct investment(FDI)which is more important for economic development.At the same time,globalization has made human capital and skills development even more important.The reduction in trade barriers and the surge in international trade and foreign direct investment(FDI)by transnational corporations(TNCs)have resulted in the need for workers and businesses to be competitive on a global scale.TVET and FDI have been demonstrated as the key for expertise improvement as well as transnational corporation.With its component concentrated on explicit employment,it has enabled people to secure expertise related positions or begin possess business.TVET and FDI stand a significant player in financial development of a country through improvement of labor force,human capital and arise in business rate.This paper is used to investigate on the impact of vocational training and foreign direct investment on economic development in Tanzania.In the process of analysis,the author was used Multiple Linear Regression Model.In the study,Ordinary Least Square(OLS)technique for estimation was utilized to test years' time arrangement information go from 1985 to 2018.The outcome shows model goodness of fit R-Square and F-test at 0.9726 and 0.0000 individually,which represent the prevalence of model in clarifying the information.The overall result defended government expenditure and labor force participation rate to have effects on economic development,which multiple linear regression model results,confirmed to be insignificant in this study.On the other hand,the result shows significant level of less than 0.05 percent in foreign direct investment,enrolment of vocational training centers,vocational trainee employment rate and gross fixed capital formation.The result of this study shows there is a positive impact of vocational training and foreign direct investment on economic development.
