Research On Eye Movement Characteristics Of Hitters Predicting Pitchers' Pitching In Slow-Pitch Softball Training

In the slow-shooting softball game,the hitting player predicts that the pitching point of the pitcher is a visual search in a relatively short period of time,and requires the hitting player to react quickly.In the slow-throw softball game,it is necessary for the hitter to have the ability to predict the pitching point of the pitcher in order to improve the hit rate.Based on this,a single-factor experimental design was used to analyze the pre-judgment response,pre-judgment accuracy rate,number of fixation points,fixation interest area,fixation interest area time,and saccade distance of slow-motion softball players of different sports levels in predicting pitcher pitch.The test subjects selected 15second-level slow-throw softball players as the Professional Group and 15 slow-throw softball beginners as the novice group.The experimental results found that:(1)There was a significant difference in the response time of the Professional Group and the novice group to the pitcher's predicted landing point,and the Professional Group's response was less than that of the novice group.(2)There is a significant difference between the two groups of subjects in predicting the accuracy of the pitching pitch of the pitcher.The Professional Group predicts the accuracy of the pitching pitch of the pitcher more accurately than the novice group.The Professional Group is superior to the novice group in the processing of visual search information.(3)There are significant differences in the total fixation points of the panelists and the novice group.The total number of fixation points of the Professional Group is more than that of the novice group.The visual search information processing effect of the Professional Group when viewing the stimulating material is better than that of the novice group.(4)The gaze position of the Professional Group is sorted from large to small: "ball> bowler> support leg> in vitro> non-bowler> torso> head".The position of the gaze of the novice group is sorted from large to small: "External>Pitcher>Non-Pitcher>Support leg>Ball>Torso>Head".Judging from the frequency of the fixation frequency of the two groups of subjects,the frequency of fixation positions of the Professional Group and the novice group shows that the Professional Group has more fixation points and concentrated fixation points.The gazepoints of the novice group showed less gaze points and scattered gaze points.(5)There is a significant difference in the time of gazing in the interest area between the Professional Group and the novice group.The average fixation time of the Professional Group is greater than that of the novice group,and the difference is very significant.(6)The difference in average saccade distance between the Professional Group and the novice group is very significant.The saccade distance of the Professional Group is larger than that of the novice group,and the gaze range of the Professional Group in visual search is larger than that of the novice group.The results of the study show that: in the slow-throw softball game,expert team hitters are better than novices in the test of pre-judgment response,pre-judgment accuracy rate,number of fixation points,fixation interest area,fixation interest area time,saccade distance eye movement index Group;the Professional Group of hitter players in the process of predicting the pitcher's pitching visual search mode is more efficient than the novice group.
