The purpose of university education is to cultivate excellent talents,not only to cultivate students with high precision high-end technology and academic ability,to cultivate students with more but in his or her duties,high sense of responsibility and dedicated team ability,realize the complete personality education.Sports is an important part of college curriculum,which can promote the health,mental health and social adaptability of college students,which will help college students to build a complete personality.How to cultivate the personality through physical education is the problem for every sports worker.Therefore,this study is based on the characteristics of baseball,and explores the influence of college students on the social adaptation ability of baseball softball,which provides theoretical support for the wide spread of baseball games in colleges and universities.Research uses the literature material law,questionnaire survey,classroom observation and other research methods,with the social self-efficacy scale,the social avoidance and distress scale(SAD)"as the study of measuring tool,to participate in slow pitch softball on college students' social adaptation ability as the research object,the influence of selected universities in north jiangsu xu-zhou industrial vocational and technical college freshmen for the issuance of the questionnaire and teaching experiment,the experimental group with slow pitch softball teaching content,the control group used the traditional sports teaching content.By analyzing the relevant data analysis,the students in the experimental group and control group were different in social self-efficacy and social avoidance and distress tendency.The conclusions are as follows:(1)through the physical education learning slow pitch baseball and softball,students in social self-efficacy on the performance of the increased strength is also more obvious,we can see the experimental group a pretest and posttest have significant difference,suggests that students learn by slow for baseball and softball to a certain extent,to improve college students' social adaptation ability;(2)slow pitch softball training courses on college students' social self-efficacy impact of each dimension is different,on social self-efficacy of college students "self-efficacy of social confidence","social self-efficacy actively" dimension showed significant difference test before and after the test,and no differences in "language expression efficiency" dimension.(3)based on the experimental group in college students' social avoidance and distress scale,dimensions of pretest and posttest analysis,"social withdrawal" dimensions exist significant differences,and in the "social distress" dimensions did not reach significant difference;(4)through classroom observation found that slow pitch softball sports teaching process is beneficial to the development of the college students' social adaptation ability,and the traditional sports teaching need of the teaching design,teaching methods and other factors on the improvement.Suggestions:(1)the slow pitch softball on college students' social adaptation ability have a certain role in promoting,colleges should be according to the requirements of the students themselves and the course arrangement will slow pitch softball actively into the physical education curriculum system,make the development of slow pitch softball to popularize.Secondly,the universities should attach importance to slow pitch softball venue the teachers construction,can make use of spare resources school field development and construction of some slow pitch softball field,also want to more training,physical education teachers in slow pitch softball reserve faculty;(2)for physical education teachers in traditional physical education according to the characteristics of the sports for tactical teaching design,such as to guide the class through game,let more between students,between students and teachers interact in sports as the carrier.Secondly,whether it is the slow throwing softball or the PE class of traditional sports,we should pay more attention to the student role and students' participation in the experience,and have more dialogues and exchanges with students.(3)for sports in colleges,to enrich the slow pitch softball in form,can be slow pitch softball as public elective courses or professional sports in body,also can through the game,the league form to improve college students' understanding of slow pitch softball,promote the slow pitch softball.
