| MOOC(Massive Open Online Courses),is a kind of new teaching pattern that is different from traditional teaching model.It depends on Internet,cooperate with universities,provides all kinds of courses to the public with no limits of time and space.MOOC makes it possible for everyone to acquire high quality resource of famous universities,finish studying and gain certificates.Recent years,both foreign and domestic MOOC platform have developed rapidly and accumulated large number of users and data.Analyzing and studying users' data is a way to understand users,adjust courses design and help to improve user experience.This work firstly study the users' data of MOOC which can be used to define some quantitative indexes.Secondly,we study predicting indexes by moving average method,focus on MOOC user behavior tendancy,analyze the changes of course indexes in recent years and different semester patterns,as well as the difference between online and offline course.And we also discover intuitional charts to display indexes.Then,this work address a synthetic analysis solution that combined index prediction,online/offline comparison,different semester pattern comparison and visualization.For data analyzation,we use the real users' data from 2016 to 2018 of the course Computer Culture Foundation of Xuetangx,a domestic MOOC platform,and its relative campus offline course platform,Web Learning.Finally,to engineered the research work,we develop a web application with functions of data processing,prediction and visualization,which can help instructors to clearly get understandings of users.The results of data analyzation mainly show that,1)Users show low activeness in discussion.2)There are long tail phenomenon in aspect of grades.3)Extracting keywords from users' posts is a way to acquire knowledge and key points of course.4)Fluency and playback in video watching analysis reflects the popularity of course videos.5)Users prefer to study in the evening,to bone before deadline or right after class.6)Users mainly come from developed districts of economics,education and Internet.Howerver there exists diversification tendancy. |
