With the development of "Internet +" and educational informatization,online education service platform has attracted more and more people's attention.According to relevant statistics,as of 2019,China's online education reached 251.76 billion yuan,an increase of 25.7%compared with 2017.The number of registered online education students reached 200 million.Among them,the global number of MOOC platform registrations reached 101 million in 2018.People's recognition of online education is getting higher and higher,not only can receive free online education services,but also gradually formed the awareness of paid learning.Online learning has been an important way for learners to acquire knowledge.With the continuous expansion of online education,there are more and more massive online learning behavior data.As the technology matures,exploring the information contained in online learning behavior data is the value and significance of analyzing learners' needs and improving the teaching quality of MOOC platform.MOOC has changed the learner's learning style,thinking and learning concepts,but there are also some deficiencies,such as poor learning experience,outdated content,and difficult learning process.From the perspective of MOOC,it is the MOOC course not sufficiently adaptable to learners.The MOOC platform will continually update a large number of new courses,and if a course does not meet the needs of learners,it is likely to be eliminated.Therefore,in order to help MOOC course builders provide suggestions for improvement,information exploring of MOOC learner behavior data is extremely essential.Based on the above analysis,the contents of this study mainly include the following:First of all,on the basis of a review of the current status of MOOC curriculum adaptability research at home and abroad,a curriculum data provided by the Data Analysis Project of the "Teacher's Teaching Ability Enhancement MOOC" course organized by Peking University Digital Learning Research Center,combined with relevant learning theories and motivations theories,using data visualization technology,to determine the two directions of this study:through the visualization of learner behavior data,reflexing the adaptability of the MOOC curriculum,that is,the adaptation of the teaching resources and teaching process of the MOOC curriculum.Secondly,through the analysis of learner behavior(learning style,daily participation,resource attention)and teaching content adaptability(unit knowledge average hits,section knowledge points attention,section knowledge points average clicks)data visualization analysis and research,found that the MOOC curriculum teaching resources have insufficient adaptability to learners' learning needs.During the course of curriculum implementation,the number of resource browse has been decreasing,and more and more learners have been lost.According to the analysis results of learner behavior data in the two semesters,the frequency of the learners'classroom learning decreased in the second semester,weakening learning enthusiasm,and needing to modify the teaching content on the basis of the first semester,then satisfy the learner's lifelong learning needs.Using the theory of learning motivation to analyze the loss of learners,and put forward suggestions for improving the adaptability of teaching resources of MOOC courses.Finally,through the learner's learning time(student's online duration,learner's online duration and performance relevance),learning experience adaptability(learning time distribution,forum participation)and teaching progress adaptability(learning progress,missed test)data visualization analysis study,found that the MOOC course teaching process is not suitable for the learner's learning process.Most learners have shorter online hours,lower grades or even failed,and it is difficult to obtain a certificate.The learning time distribution of learners is mainly in the three stages of 9-10 am,3-4 pm and 20-21 pm.It is recommended that MOOC course builders choose the appropriate time to focus on learning difficulties and prevent learners from losing.To increase learners'good experience in the learning process and encourage learners to participate in forum discussions,because the more forums are participate,the higher scores will get.Through the cycle analysis of the learners completing the test,found that most learners have difficulty keeping up with the progress of teaching,which leads many learners to miss the test time,affecting the learning effect and the quality of the course teaching.It is suggested to use the formative evaluation method to continuously analyze and evaluate the learner's learning process,accept the learner's feedback information,and gradually improve the adaptability of the MOOC course teaching process to the learner's learning process.Through the analysis of results of this study,the MOOC curriculum has insufficient adaptability to learners,mainly reflected in teaching resources and teaching process.Teaching resources can not meet the learners needs for lifelong learning and the epoch requirements for progress and development.The teaching process makes learning experience worse,and there is no effective solution to difficulties.On this basis,the course builders are proposed to improve the learning,which is beneficial to the learning effect and the improvement of the teaching quality of the MOOC course,and increases the course adaptability.
