Childhood Psychological Abuse And Neglect On Adolescent Internet Addiction

The psychological,educational and social problems brought about by Internet addiction have seriously harmed the adolescents' family,school and society.At present,the effect of adolescent on Internet addiction is mainly explored from the family factors of the ecosystem theory space system,the so-called parenting style,parent-child relationship As a result,the family,as the most durable and important system for individual development,divides more factors into studies that affect adolescents with Internet addiction,intervenes and prevents adolescents with Internet addiction,alleviates the damage caused by Internet addiction,and promotes Based on the ecosystem theory and the risk family model,this study explores the effects of childhood psychological abuse and neglect on adolescent Internet addiction.In this study,874 junior and senior high school students were selected as subjects to investigate the mediating effect of emotional intelligence and resilience on the influence of childhood psychological abuse and neglect on Internet addiction.The results found that:(1)Childhood psychological abuse and neglect significantly predicted adolescent internet addiction.(2)Emotional intelligence plays a mediating role in the effects of childhood psychological abuse and neglect on adolescent internet addiction,with an effect size of 10.70%.(3)Resilience plays a mediating role in the effects of childhood psychological abuse and neglect on adolescents with Internet addiction,with an effect size of 13.0%.(4)Emotional intelligence and resilience play a chain-mediating role in childhood psychological abuse and neglect and adolescent internet addiction,with a mediating effect amount of 13.79%.The results show that adolescents with childhood psychological abuse and neglect have lower emotional intelligence and resilience,and may have a higher tendency to Internet addiction,and resilience has a higher mediating effect than emotional intelligence.In order to more effectively alleviate the current situation of adolescents' Internet addiction,adolescents need to actively manage themselves,usually pay more attention to their emotional changes,use these emotional information to deal with problems,actively adjust their mentality,improve their optimism,tenacity and facechallenges,Increase the awareness and emotional expression of rational use of the Internet.In addition,families should actively play the role of emotional education,and schools should also demonstrate the advantages of mental health education.
