Marathon is a sports event centering on aerobic energy supply,which requires athletes to have certain aerobic capacity as well as mixed oxygen and anaerobic capacity to achieve good result in competitions.Therefore,pre-competition training is the prerequisite and guarantee for athletes to achieve good result in marathon competitions.Based on the literature review method,expert interview method,tracking survey and case study,this paper took pre-competition training of the excellent student marathon athlete Qiu Wangdong from ordinary university as the research object,analyzed his successful cases of pre-competition training for Xiamen and Yangling International Marathons,conducted research and analysis on the training characteristics from the aspects such as pre-competition training stage division,training content,training method and means,load regulation and competitive state adjustment so as to explore effective paths for him to improve sports achievement and provide training reference for related marathon coaches and athletes.The main research conclusions were as follows:1.The excellent student marathon athlete Qiu Wangdong from ordinary university successively participated in multiple major domestic competitions in 2017 and 2018,and achieved significant results,wherein won first place for six times,second place for once and fourth place for once.He had reached the top level in individual competitive ability compared with domestic student athletes from ordinary universities.2.The pre-competition training for the excellent student marathon athlete Qiu Wangdong from ordinary university was divided into 8 weeks in four stages,2 weeks for the transitional adjustment stage,3 weeks for the training recovery stage,2 weeks for the intensive training stage and 1 week for the pre-competition adjustment stage.3.The pre-competition training contents presented the following characteristics:focused on cross training on venue and highway,centered on aerobic endurance training in the transitional adjustment stage;centered on aerobic endurance training and speed endurance training in the training recovery stage;centered on specific endurance training and speed training in the intensive training stage;centered on small-load and high-strength training mode to adjust somatic function and competitive state in the pre-competition adjustment stage.4.The pre-competition training for the excellent student marathon athlete QiuWangdong from ordinary university finished the 16km-32 km long-distance pace by the means of continual training,and the time varied according to the training tasks;interval training method was used for 3km×4 training,9min20 s for the former two while 9min10 s for the last one;Fartlek was used for 1km+2km+3km+2km+1km training,and 1km/3min10 s was required;The training method of participating competition instead of training was used to finish Full Marathon for once,besides,training method and means were different according to the weekly training tasks in each stage.He finished the training task through training of 8 week before the competition.5.The pre-competition training for the excellent student marathon athlete Qiu Wangdong from ordinary university presented a wave-like characteristic,the training volume was in an ascending order,which declined gradually after the peak and was opposite to the training intensity.In the pre-competition training stage,the total running volume,the average weekly running volume,the maximum daily load,the maximum weekly load,the minimum load,the maximum load intensity and the minimum load intensity were 156 km,32km,196 km,95km,97% and 60%respectively.6.In terms of training time arrangement,the excellent student marathon athlete Qiu Wangdong from ordinary university was different from professional athletes.He conducted training after finishing all academic courses,had flexible training time on weekdays and could have training at weekends.Meanwhile,the factors influencing the competitive state mainly included optimization of training content arrangement,reasonable regulation of athletic load capacity and load intensity,mental state adjustment and somatic function maintenance,scientific training arrangement of coach and control of competition frequency.
