Feasibility Research Of The Organization Of Marathon Race In Xining

In recent years,the mass sports undertakings are in full swing,and the national fitness has been elevated to a national strategy.With the State Council's introduction of relevant policies such as the 2016-2020 National Fitness Program and the Health China 2030 Planning Outline,the masses' health consciousness has been gradually enhanced.As one of the numerous body-building items,Marathon has been favored by the masses.In 2017,the number of Marathon races in China reached 1,102,and "running China" has become an ordinary state.Marathon events have also gradually become important platforms for city propaganda and promotion,and for building up the national fitness,promoting the development of local economy and enhancing cultural exchanges.However,as an important city in northwest region,Xining has never organized a Marathon race registered by the Chinese Athletics Association.Coinciding with the proposition of "The Belt and Road" strategy,which covers China's central and western regions,Xining becomes a place that must be passed under the "The Belt and Road" strategy.Besides,the city has advantaged geographical advantage,which can facilitate cultural interaction and communication between different regions,and help to propagandize urban culture and present the abundant human customs in Xining.Therefore,the author hopes to provide a reference for the organization of Marathon race in Xining through a feasibility study.In this paper,using literature review method,on-the-spot investigation,analogy method,logical reasoning and expert interview method,starting from the perspective of competitive organization,the conditions and feasibility of the organization of Marathon race in Xining are investigated.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)Xining possesses the geographical and climatic conditions for hosting the Marathon race,and it has held 45 New Year's Day city encircling competitions in succession.The climatic conditions from May to September in Xining are most suitable for the organization of Marathon race.(2)Xining City Government has issued relevant policies regarding the organization of large competitions to encourage the organization of large sports events.(3)It is feasible to choose the route,starting point and end point of the Marathon race to be held in Xining in urban area.In addition,there are three regions in urban area of Xining in line with the requirements of Marathon race for starting point and end point,those are,The Qinghai Sports Center,the Xining Xinning Square and the Xining Center Square.(4)The plateau climate will exert a series of impacts on human body.Therefore,the Marathon race to be held in Xining is equipped with a variety of race groups such as half-Marathon race,ten-kilometer running,five-kilometer running and family running.(5)Xining has a large number of participants for the Marathon race,the sports single associations and clubs in Xining develop rapidly,the number of people received by the sports venues is ever increasing,so Xining has a broad mass sports basis.(6)Xining has held the New Year's Day city encircling competitions and hosted the Tour of Qinghai Lake,which accumulated organization preparations and safeguard experience for Xining to hold the Marathon race.(7)Xining has sufficient reservation of human resources for the Marathon race,and has experienced competition organizational management personnel,logistics support personnel and athletic judges.Moreover,the channels for volunteer recruitment are stable.
