At the end of last century,in order to improve students' quality and promote their all-round development,China proposed to "deepen education reform,comprehensively promote quality education".Geographical field investigation is the basic means of geographical research,and it is also an important way for the implementation of geographical teaching and an important way for students to find and solve problems.The field investigation of natural geography can provide teachers with rich teaching materials,and enable students to recognize the natural environment,master knowledge and solve practical problems in the real situation,so as to improve the important thinking quality and ability to analyze and understand geographical process,geographical laws and human land relations.However,due to the limitations of education concept,education funds and other factors,Chinese students generally lack the opportunity to experience and operate in the field to acquire geographical knowledge,which has affected the cultivation effect of students' geographical core literacy,such as geographical practice and human land coordination.At present,there are many problems in the field investigation,such as the lack of fixed guidance materials and reference books,the imbalance of the cultivation of students' geographical ability and emotional attitude,and the poor implementation effect.Therefore,based on the requirements of the new curriculum reform for the cultivation of students' skills and values,it is particularly urgent and important to carry out relevant research such as the design of physical geography field investigation scheme,which also has reference significance for other related teaching activities.By combing the relevant domestic and foreign research results,combining with the problems found in the teaching practice of the author,this paper analyzes the causes from the aspects of teachers' literacy,students' ability and external conditions,defines the core concept and analyzes the basic theory under the guidance of the new curriculum standard.In order to provide reference and guidance for teachers to design and implement the field investigation teaching of physical geography,we formulate the field investigation program of high school physical geography suitable for the cultivation of geographical practical ability according to the sequence of design objectives,design principles,examination content selection and program evaluation.And we design the field investigation program of Manas River Basin physical geography for empirical research.The main contents of this paper are as follows:1.Combing research background and research progress,defining core concepts and analyzing basic theories.Through interview,observation and literature analysis,we find the problems in the field investigation of high school physical geography.In order to carry out more targeted research work,the concept of geographical field investigation and investigation scheme design is redefined,and the basic theory of this paper is determined as situational cognitive learning theory,specific cognitive theory and pragmatism education theory.2.Design the field investigation plan of high school physical geography.According to the reform objectives proposed in the new curriculum reform,referring to the relevant contents of geography I published by the people's Education Edition,and guided by the existing problems,the plan design objectives are determined,such as cultivating students' geographical core literacy and improving teachers' professional quality and so on.And the design principles of situational,participatory and practical are put forward.Then according to the three stages of preparation before investigation,implementation during investigation and evaluation after investigation,the plan is described in detail nine concrete steps should be taken to make a scientific,reasonable and feasible field investigation plan.3.Empirical research.Combined with the design principles and ideas of the investigation scheme proposed in this study,taking the Manas River Basin in the middle of Tianshan Mountain as the experimental area,on the basis of integrating the natural geography teaching material resources such as topography and hydrology in this area,we design the field investigation program of high school physical geography in the inland river basin of the arid area suitable for the requirements of the new curriculum standard according to the six specific links: the determination of investigation objectives,selection of investigation contents,formulation of investigation manual,mobilization and preparation,preparation of implementation scheme,evaluation of investigation results and evaluation of investigation scheme.
