A Study On Cultivating College Students' Sense Of Social Responsibility In The New Era

General secretary Xi Jinping stated that : "On the new journey of realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,we need to be ready at all times to respond great challenges,withstand great risks,overcome great obstacles and address great conflicts.The spirit of taking responsibilities to rise to difficulties and step forward bravely is urgently needed ".It is the young who shoulder the historical mission of realizing the Chinese Dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Therefore,for colleges and universities,strengthening the cultivation of students' sense of social responsibility becomes an important content of socialist higher education with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Under the guidance of Marxist theory,applying the principles and methods of modern ideological and political education,laying basis on extensive collection of documents and materials,this paper studies the awareness of social responsibility of college students in the form of questionnaires and interviews,thus drawing conclusions and putting forward effective cultivation countermeasures for institutions of higher learning.In the first chapter,the background,purpose and significance of the research on the cultivation of College Students' sense of social responsibility in the new era were discussed.And the research approaches and innovations of the study were illuminated on the basis of previous studies from home and abroad.In the second chapter,key words "new era" and "the cultivation of College Students' sence of social responsibility" were defined.Based on the relationships between individual and society and between freedom and responsibility of Marxism,and Xi Jinping's discussion on the responsibility of college students,this chapter further discusses on the necessity of strengthening the cultivation of College Students' sense of social responsibility.The third chapter is about the empirical investigation.According to the results of questionnaires of1000 students and the interview feedbacks of 10 students and 20 teachers in Shihezi University,the author studied the current situation of College Students' social responsibility awareness in the new era and drawed following conclusions.(1)basic cognition of political responsibility,positive attitude and good practice;(2)college students have a high sense of life responsibility and are willing to practice helping others in life;(3)generally have a good sense of responsibility and high participation in learning activities;(4)the awareness level of network responsibility is high,and the degree of rational online behavior is high;(5)the school has a basic understanding of responsibility,and its behavior is generally implemented.Also,the current situation of the cultivation of College Students' sense of social responsibility in the new era were analyzed and conclusions were drawn.(1)The overall cultivation direction of the school is in place,and the cultivation goal of social responsibility is promoted step by step;(2)Ideological and political teachers in Shihezi University are adopting flexibly teaching methods,and are paying more attention to infiltrating the cultivation of social responsibility in class;(3)The school has strenthened the cultivation of social responsibility awareness based on New media and achieved remarkable results;(4)The school is committed to creating a good environment for the cultivation of social responsibility and form a goodatmosphere.The fourth part: according to the analysis of the survey results,it is found that the overall level of college students' awareness of social responsibility is not high and their awareness of responsibility is the lowest.The slow development of political responsibility consciousness and school responsibility consciousness.At the level of cultivating college students' awareness of social responsibility,there are some problems,such as insufficient pertinence of cultivating objectives,incomplete contents and diversified approaches.On this basis,in-depth interviews were conducted with students and teachers to analyze the causes of these problems in the following aspects.(2)the main channel of ideological and political education is not fully played and the coordinated development cannot be deepened;(3)the connection between theoretical guidance and practice is not appropriate,and the practice of social responsibility is hindered;(4)the implicit cultivation of social responsibility is not perfect enough,and teachers' exemplary and leading role should be played;(5)students' lack of social responsibility consciousness and the negative influence of peer groups;(6)negative impact of social environment and weakening of cultivation effect.The fifth part: according to the investigation and study found that a new era of college students bear social responsibility consciousness of cultivating the analysis of the existing problems and influence factors,from the top design content,breeding,breeding methods,breeding channel,team construction,puts forward a new era of college students in colleges and universities bear the social responsibility consciousness fostering effective countermeasures.
