Discussion On Cultivate The Students’ Sense Of Social Responsibility In Current

College students are the builders, successors and the strong backing of the socialism, andthey are directly related to the boom and decline of our society. Recently, Chinese economicstructure, the distribution of benefits and the lifestyle of people have changed a lot with thedeepening of reform and opening up. The college students have strengthened their ideological,independence, differences and variability. their ideas are more active than ever, their diversifiedvalues have merged in an inevitable situation. Aiming to foster the socialist builders andsuccessors, we should base on the students’ current characteristics and their practical life toanalysis and explore the methods and ways of developing the students’ awareness of socialresponsibility which will exert a great significance in construction of a harmonious society andthe personnel training policy.This article is based on the previous studies. I analysis the students’ awareness of socialresponsibility in a deeper way and make a definition about the college students’ awareness ofsocial responsibility which is access to previous research. The results reflect a sense of socialresponsibility of college students weakening trend: students have no clear sense of the socialresponsibility, and their social responsibility have great wave, practical, selfish and contrary.There are still some problems in the cultivating process. There aren’t strong relationship amongsociety, university and family. The university as the‘main batt1efield’of cultivating collegestudents, sense of social responsibility，they have some problems. According to the results of thequestionnaire and the theories of domestic and foreign education, I analyze the college students’current situation about the sense of responsibility as well as the reasons for the weakening of thisability and put up some useful advises to improve the college students’ awareness of socialresponsibilities on the basis of community, schools, families and students four areas.
